List of all WWE Drafts & brands involved

WWE Draft is a process of refreshing the roster by moving WWE superstars primarily between Raw and SmackDown brands. WWE introduced the brand split in 2002, to extend the company into two brands by introducing SmackDown as the new roster. As a result of the draft, WWE brought brand exclusive titles, making separate championship titles for the brands.

In 2006, the Draft process became exclusive for the ECW brand, where they could pick wrestlers from Raw & SmackDown. The WWE Draft process was held regularly until 2011, however after the world championship unification, the brand split was suspended.

In 2016, after four years of suspension, WWE brought the WWE Draft back involving WWE’s developmental brand NXT. This made SmackDown a live show for the first time, reintroducing it as SmackDown Live.

This brought brand exclusive championships to each brand and made NXT the third brand, however NXT stars were moved to the main roster. This process is continuing on an annual basis and this year marks the 18th WWE Draft. Here is the list of all WWE Drafts and the involving brands.

The 2024 WWE Draft is all set to take place this year for two nights. The Night 1 of WWE Draft will begin on the April 26, 2024 episode of SmackDown at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following that, Night 2 of the Draft will take place on the April 29, 2024 episode of Raw at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
