The WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championship were brought in 2018.

WWE has only one WWE Women’s Tag-Team championship that serves all the main rosters for women’s. It was first introduced on December 26, 2018 and is said to be used in all three brands, which are RAW, SmackDown & NXT.

The belt was initially intended to be accessible to all three brands, however, it no longer appears on NXT with the creation of the NXT Women’s Tag Team belt in 2021. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship was made available to NXT again in June 2023, following the unification of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The current champions are SmackDown’s Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, who are in their first reign as a team and individually. They beat the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) in Backlash France on May 4, 2024.

As of May 12, 2024, there had been 25 reigns between 20 teams, consisting of 32 individual champions and two vacancies. Bayley and Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky), Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan, and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) all have two reigns, while Asuka holds the individual record with four.

As a team, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) had the longest reign at 171 or 172 days (180 days as acknowledged by WWE owing to tape delay), while Bliss and Asuka had the lowest reign at 5 days (4 days as recognized by WWE). The Kabuki Warriors hold the longest combined rule at 270 days, while Asuka has the greatest individual reign at 317 days. Lita is the oldest champion, winning at 47 years old, while Rhea Ripley is the youngest, winning at 24.
