Liv Morgan is going to miss some time for a while
Since getting injured on WWE RAW, fans have been constantly asking to get an update on when she might return and the latest update has shed some light on when she might return to the squared circle.
Liv Morgan dislocated her shoulder during the June 16th edition of Monday Night Raw, suffering an injury. But many first thought it was kayfabe until it was confirmed by WWE. While speculation continues, Morgan’s current in-ring return timeline has been revealed.
WrestleVotes during a Q&A session was asked about Liv Morgan’s injury and what might be a realistic return timeline for her. According to WrestleVotes, folks in Gorilla were much calmer this time than when Zoey Stark was injured a few weeks ago, which is interpreted as a positive indication for Morgan’s recovery.
WrestleVotes said that many he spoke with backstage estimate Liv Morgan will be out of action for around twelve weeks, or three months. WrestleVotes also noted that a dislocated shoulder takes time to recover.
“I was gonna mention the reaction that was back in Gorilla — a lot more reserved, a lot more calm than a few weeks ago when Zoey Stark got injured — so I take that as good news. Just talking to a few people, obviously didn’t talk to any doctors, so internet don’t run wild with it, it’s about three months she’s gonna be on the shelf with the injury.
Yeah, three months. Just what I’ve been hearing this morning, Joe — I asked a couple of people and they said roughly around twelve weeks. Hopefully it’s less, but a dislocated shoulder takes time.”
As previously reported, WWE may be forced to abandon the Women’s WWE Tag Team Championships before of the Evolution 2 Premium Live Event. This is certainly a bad scenario all around because Liv Morgan has been such an important member of the women’s division.
While WrestleVotes thinks she might return in 3 months, Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net believes Liv Morgan is going to be out for almost six months, losing major time.
While it is unfortunate that Liv Morgan will be out of action for the next coming months, it remains to be seen whether Morgan will continue to appear in WWE programming, since many believe her star power is required for television.
