Liv Morgan’s top five most memorable WWE moments

Liv has just turned 30 today.

Liv Morgan is one of the top WWE stars in the active roster. She is currently in the Raw brand and is the reigning Women’s World Champion. Liv has been in WWE since 2013 and had a big underdog career in the company.

Liv is a four-time champion in WWE with two time Women’s World Champion/SmackDown Women’s Championship reigns and two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship reigns. Liv has just turned 30 today (June 08, 2024) and to celebrate it, here we take a look at five of the most memorable moments of Liv Morgan in WWE.

5. Defeating Rhea Ripley

On the May 30, 2022 episode of Monday Night Raw Liv Morgan faced Rhea Ripley in a singles match. This was the time when Rhea Ripley joined the Judgment Day. Damian Priest got the back of Ripley, whereas AJ Styles had the back of Liv Morgan.

During the final moments of the match, Liv countered the Riptide and hit a backstabber to defeat Rhea Ripley. With this win, Liv became the last woman to defeat Ripley in a singles match till date.

4. Kissing Dominik Mysterio

At Raw after King and Queen of the Ring 2024 PLE, the new champion Liv Morgan defended her Women’s World Championship in a rematch against Becky Lynch inside the Steel Cage. Liv Morgan successfully defended her title and retained it by escaping the ring after Dom accidentally hit the cage door on Becky’s head. Liv then went on to kiss Dom in front of the live crowd and it became a viral moment around the wrestling world.

3. Miss. Money in the Bank

At Money in the Bank 2022, Liv Morgan participated in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match competing with Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Lacey Evans, Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi. Liv Morgan won the Money in the Bank briefcase to become Miss MITB 2022. This marks the first major win for Morgan in WWE.

2. Women’s World Champion

At King and Queen of the Ring 2024 PLE, Liv Morgan challenged Becky Lynch for the Women’s World Championship. Liv was an ultimate underdog in the match, whereas Becky Lynch is the fan favorite. However Liv delivered a tough fight and managed to win the title with a botched assistance by Dominik Mysterio. This is Liv’s second singles World Championship win and fourth overall championship win in WWE.

1. Money in the Bank cash-in

At Money in the 2022, Ronda Rousey successfully defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Natalya in a singles match, where Rousey badly injured her leg. Liv Morgan who won the Money in the Bank earlier the same day wasted no time to cash in her Money in the Bank Contract against Ronda Rousey.

Most of them doubted whether Liv could successfully cash-in, but she somehow managed to defeat Rousey to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. This is Liv’s first ever championship win in her career. With this cash-in she became the third woman and fifth superstar to successfully cash-in the briefcase the same night after winning. Liv also became the second woman to pin Ronday Rousey to win a championship.
