WWE CCO Triple H has made some questionable bookings in 2026.

WWE has been growing exponentially as a global juggernaut ever since Triple H took over the reins as WWE Chief Content Officer in 2026.

However, The Game has been called out for his questionable bookings for a long time. Moreover, he has also made some huge blunders at the start of this year, especially on the road to WrestleMania 42. Here are five wrong moves pulled by Triple H in 2026:

5. Putting AJ Styles in a spot

According to multiple reports, AJ Styles had no clue that The Undertaker was going to come out on his tribute night on RAW and announce his Hall of Fame induction this year.

This put The Phenomenal One in a fix and potentially closed his options to explore outside WWE following his in-ring retirement at the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE.

4. Making part-time star AJ Lee a champion

AJ Lee defeated Becky Lynch to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. While it received a huge ovation, this booking decision by Triple H was possibly a blunder, given her part-time status, and could ruin the title’s credibility, built by full-time stars like Lynch and others.

3. Bloodline story re-run

WWE produced one of the most captivating storylines with The Bloodline for a period of five straight years, with different variations.

However, Triple H is once again re-running the same storyline with CM Punk and Roman Reigns‘ feud, with the insertion of The Usos, which has become stale and is seen by the fans as such, instead of exploring a different direction.

2. No major spot for Gunther at WrestleMania 42

Gunther, perhaps, has one of the biggest moments going on in WWE after recently retiring AJ Styles and John Cena from in-ring competition.

Despite that, he has not been penciled for a major spot at WrestleMania 42, which could have a major effect on his rise as ‘The Career Killer.’

1. Ending Drew McIntyre’s title reign

Drew McIntyre drew a record viewership and attendance for SmackDown during his reign as the Undisputed WWE Champion. Despite that, Triple H decided to take the title off him and give it to Cody Rhodes on the road to WrestleMania 42, which met with a huge negative response from fans worldwide.

When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?

The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will take place as a two-night event on Saturday, April 18 and 19, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

What matches have been announced for the show?

• CM Punk (c) vs Roman Reigns – World Heavyweight title match

• Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Liv Morgan – Women’s World title match

• Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi

• Cody Rhodes (c) vs Randy Orton – Undisputed title match

• Jade Cargill (c) vs Rhea Ripley – WWE Women’s title match

• AJ Lee (c) vs Becky Lynch – Women’s Intercontinental title match
