The EST of WWE has been absent from in-ring competition since April!

‘The EST of WWE’ Bianca Belair has been significantly absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania 41. Except for a few sporadic appearances, Belair has mostly been absent from WWE programming and has yet to make her in-ring return.

Belair competed in a triple-threat match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley, where the Women’s World title was on the line. Belair suffered a broken finger and has been absent from the in-ring competition. During a recent appearance on the Club 520 podcast, Belair gave an update on the injury.

During an appearance on the Club 520 podcast, Belair revealed she’s still recovering from an injury that’s kept her out for five months.

In a conversation about her WrestleMania 41 triple threat match with Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky, Belair shared that she’s still dealing with the aftermath of the injury.

She mentioned that she’s wearing her wedding ring on her right hand instead of her left because her finger is “still broken.” However, despite the injury, she reflected proudly on her performance.

“That’s one of my matches I’m super proud about at WrestleMania this past year with Rhea Ripley, IYO Sky. There was a lot of strength and athleticism that we displayed, and storytelling. That’s what’s amazing about WWE, it’s sports entertainment, for sure, and that’s what we do. I’m super proud to be a part of something like that.”

More details on Andrade’s unceremonious WWE exit

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported hearing that Andrade was disciplined by WWE and sent home from a TV taping for reasons that weren’t “drug-related, alcohol related, or marriage-related.”

However, no one would clarify what it actually was. Meltzer also mentioned WWE wanted Andrade to work for AAA, but he didn’t, though it’s unclear if that’s connected to the issue.

PW Insider, on the other hand, disagrees, stating that there were never any offers for Andrade to work in AAA, so he couldn’t have declined them.

Additionally, Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated reported that Andrade had at least one wellness violation during his most recent WWE Run.

“It is not known how exactly he was in violation of the policy, or whether or not he in fact tested positive for a banned substance (WWE can suspend talent for failing to produce a test). It is also not clear if it directly led to his release, but it was noted that he was suspended without pay as of a result of it.”

“[Andrade] was told to leave a taping last month, and was escorted out of the building. A high-level source asserted this dismissal from the building was in relation to his most recent suspension, and that it affected major creative plans for his tag team with Rey Fenix.”
