Major update on Dijak’s WWE contract negotiation status

Positive note on 37 years old, former Retribution member’s WWE contract negotiations

Dijak is one of the talented professional wrestlers who has been in WWE since 2017. He has previously worked under the name Dominik Dijakovic, T-Bar. He has a long history with WWE’s developmental brand NXT and in the main roster as a part of Retribution.

The former Retribution member after his second run in NXT, recently called up for his main roster return, however backstage reports suggest that his contract is set to expire within next month. He didn’t show up on TV since WWE Draft 2024, however a positive backstage update regarding his contract negotiation status has been revealed.

Dijak’s WWE Contract status

According to Corey Brennan of Fightful Select, sources within NXT as of Tuesday morning told him that Dijak has not re-signed or been approached for a new deal, despite being called for the main roster. However both the sides are confident that a deal will be reached and will end positively. The reports noted that Shawn Michaels & Triple H are having his back. They have learned from multiple sources by his social media antics got praised by a number of people in NXT.

Fightful Select’s report,

“Fightful Select has learned from sources in NXT that as of Tuesday morning, Dijak had yet to re-sign or be approached regarding a new deal despite being drafted to the main roster. However, both sides are confident that a deal will be reached, with Shawn Michaels and Triple H both being vocal supporters of the former Retribution member. In speaking with multiple departments, Fightful Select also learned that Dijak’s social media antics have drawn praise from the majority in NXT.”

The report noted that as of Monday Evening, the creative plans for him are yet to be placed for Raw, but the plans are being pitched & he was not aware of being called up to Raw this quickly. Sources outside WWE and in the rivalry company believe that he is expected to re-sign with WWE.
