The July 21 episode of WWE Raw emanated from Houston!

The June 21 episode of Monday Night Raw continued the build towards SummerSlam. The show aired live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA

The show kicked off with a fiery segment between Gunther and CM Punk ahead of their SummerSlam title clash. Sheamus defeated Rusev in the first match of the show. This was a rematch from their meeting last month.

Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defeated the team of Bayley & Lyra Valkyria to retain the Women’s Tag Team titles, while Karrion Kross defeated Sami Zayn in the rematch.

Iyo Sky vs Stephanie Vaquer ended in disqualification as Chelsea Green and her Secret Hervice (Piper Niven & Alba Fyre) attacked. Naomi joined in the attack too, but Rhea Ripley’s arrival evened the odds as Sky, Vaquer, and Ripley stood tall.

In the closing moments of the show, Roman Reigns addressed Paul Heyman and then attacked Bron Breakker, leading Breakker and Reed to use the numbers game, which was thwarted by Jey Uso’s arrival.

Additionally, LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) triumphed in the WWE World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders match to secure a shot against the Champions.

Del Toro and Wilde are now set to battle the Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) next week for the WWE World Tag Team titles as announced by McDonagh in a backstage segment, alongside Balor and the rest of the Judgment Day.

The June 28 episode of Monday Night Raw will air live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The show will serve as the go-home show for the 2025 edition of SummerSlam and will feature the build-up for the PLE.
