WWE X AAA is setting a strong lineup for Heroes Inmortales 2026
WWE and AAA’s ongoing partnership is set to produce another major event when Heroes Inmortales 2026 takes place on October 24 in Mexico City. The event is scheduled for the Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City, Mexico, and will feature several WWE-associated stars alongside AAA’s top talent.
The card has rapidly taken shape following the latest episode of Lucha Libre AAA on FOX, with Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano, Rey Fenix, and other notable names now attached to championship matches. Here is the announced lineup so far.
El Grande Americano will defend the World title against Dominik Mysterio
The biggest match currently announced will see AAA Mega Champion El Grande Americano defend his title against former champion Dominik Mysterio in a rematch.
The rivalry stems from Triplemania 34, where Americano defeated Dominik to win the championship. Dominik and Dorian Roldan subsequently questioned Rey Mysterio’s involvement in the finish, arguing that Rey’s officiating decision should not have allowed Americano to become champion.
On the October 3 episode of AAA on Fox, Americano and Rey Mysterio faced Dominik and Omos in a match with major implications. Dominik’s team won after he struck Americano with the AAA Mega Championship, earning himself another title opportunity at Heroes Inmortales.
Another match on the card will see Rey Fenix putting his AAA Cruiserweight Championship on the line at Heroes Inmortales. However, his challenger has not yet been finalized.
The current possibilities include Nobu San, Mini Vikingo, Jack Cartwheel, and Joaquin Wilde. Fenix enters the event as one of AAA’s most established champions and will be looking to continue his impressive reign.
Fenix successfully defended the championship in a Fatal 4-Way at Triplemanía 34, defeating Mini Vikingo, Nathan Frazer, and Jack Cartwheel.
The AAA World Trios Championship will also be contested at the event. Champions Los Perros del Mal — Daga, Angel and Berto — will defend their titles against La Parka, Mr. Iguana and Niño Hamburguesa.
The match was set up after Los Perros del Mal interfered in La Parka’s AAA Latin American Championship match against Mr. Iguana on the October 3 AAA broadcast. Niño Hamburguesa subsequently came to their aid, leading to the trios championship bout being announced.
In addition to the wrestling matches, there will also be a special event where Marisela Pena is scheduled to be inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame.
