Top three matches that can be added to Saturday Night's Main Event on WWE Raw tonight (December 8, 2025)

Tonight’s Raw will emanate from Kansas City.

With the final weeks of 2025 rapidly slipping away, the pressure is on across WWE Raw as multiple superstars scramble to complete their championship goals before the year ends. Tonight’s show will air from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Monday night’s episode promises drama, tension, and high-stakes clashes, all serving as the final stop before WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, where John Cena will compete in the last match of his legendary career against Gunther.

The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the SNME go-home show of Monday Night Raw. In addition to the World Tag title match, there will be two singles matches on the card.

Furthermore, Stephanie Vaquer and Gunther are both set to make an appearance on the go-home show. Ahead of tonight’s show in Kansas City, here we will take a look at the top three matches that WWE can announce tonight for SNME.

3. Iyo Sky vs Blake Monroe

Iyo Sky has slowly become one of the top stars on the Red brand, and with her title reign this year and multiple A-star matches, Sky is amongst the best in-ring performers. On the other hand, former AEW Women’s World Champion Blake Monroe and current NXT Women’s North American Champion Blake Monroe have carried her momentum from AEW and have instantly captured the attention of fans.

As announced by John Cena, the show will give a platform to NXT talents to showcase their skills on the big stage against main-roster talents. WWE has already announced two such matches and could announce another one between the two polar opposites stars tonight.

2. Stephanie Vaquer vs Jacy Jayne

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will take on NXT Champion Oba Femi on the upcoming SNME. On the other hand, in the absence of CM Punk, WWE might opt for Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer to represent the Red brand and take on NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne.

The promotion also has the option to pit Vaquer against other rising talents, such as Lola Vice, Fallon Henley, and Izzi Dame, among others, given the abundance of talent on the developmental brand.

1. Dominik Mysterio vs Joe Hendry

Intercontinental and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio is riding on cloud nine following his win over John Cena at Survivor Series, where he also regained the IC title. Continuing on the theme of giving NXT stars a chance, WWE could book Dirty Dom against fan-favorite and Cena-esque star Joe Hendry.

WWE has already shown its trust in Hendry, giving him a WrestleMania spot against Randy Orton. A match with Dirty Dom this Saturday in Washington would serve as a testing ground for his eventual main-roster call-up, as he is now under contract with the WWE.
