Brock Lesnar wreaked havoc to kick off last night’s SmackDown!
The September 19 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which aired live from the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio, kicked off with Corey Graves and Michael Cole on the commentary.
Cole informed that he would be conducting the Lesnar interview right away and was heading backstage, but Brock appeared near the entrance ramp. Lesnar picked up Michael Cole and paraded him around before throwing him into the ring.
However, before Lesnar could attack, Corey Graves stepped in to diffuse the situation. Brock responded by hitting Graves with an F5s, then grabbed the camera and warned John Cena that he was coming for blood tomorrow. “John, I’m coming for you!” “IT’S D-DAY tomorrow, John, I’m coming for blood!”
Lesnar, after shattering the Prime stand ringside, stepped into the ring again and delivered a second F5 to Graves, who was motionless as medical staff and officials rushed in.

Graves was unable to continue and was taken backstage as The Miz replaced him to join Cole on the commentary for the rest of the show.
Graves received much-needed medical attention backstage, and Cole provided an update stating that Graves was foaming at the mouth.
“Still trying to get some information on the condition of my broadcast colleague, Corey Graves, who just moments ago was hit with two F5s by an out of control Brock Lesnar. He was foaming from the mouth at points.”
Later, Cole gave another update stating that the WWE medical team is still attending to him. As of the writing of this article, there is no further update on Graves’ situation.
Corey Graves took his first bump on TV in years
While the attack by Brock Lesnar forced Graves out of the commentary for the rest of the show, many fans and pundits pointed out how he took his first bump on TV in years. Corey was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2014 due to a history of concussions.
