Four mistakes Triple H made with Bobby Lashley in WWE

Bobby Lashley is a two-time World Champion in WWE
Bobby Lashley is one of the most powerful and dominant professional wrestlers, with a giant muscle frame. Lashley has been in the pro wrestling industry since 2005 and is known for his time in WWE and beyond. Lashley has two different runs in WWE, from 2005 to 2008 and from 2018 to the present.
It was recently reported that The Almighty is removed from the internal roster and reports suggest that he could leave WWE after his contract expiry. With the release being teased, here we take a look at four mistakes Triple H made with Bobby Lashley in WWE.
4. No stable characterization
Ever since Bobby Lashley made his WWE return in 2018, there has been no stable characterization for the All Mighty. He was brought as a face but turned into a heel to form a heel trio aligning with Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre. No sooner, he formed a team with Lio Rush, but it disbanded after a brief run.
Lashley then aligned with MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander to form ‘the Hurt Business’, but the stable got disbanded for an unknown reason. Lashley after moving to SmackDown, formed a team named Pride with Street Profits, but soon got written off from WWE TV. All these are a lively example that there is no stable characterization built for Lashley throughout his second run, which could be the most costly mistake made by Triple H.
3. Lack of push
Bobby Lashley hasn’t got enough push after moving to the SmackDown brand. Lashley formed a new heel stable with The Street Profits, which seemed promising during the initial stage, but the company buried its push with Karrion Kross’ faction Final Testament. Bobby Lashley and Street Profits, before having their first match as a faction, got attacked by Kross and AOP and the storyline went meaningless for almost half a year. This buried all the potential of the stable and made the heel stable look weaker.
2. Deprived from the title picture
Bobby Lashley was in the prime of his career while holding the WWE Championship and the United States Championship on the Raw roster. However, Lashley was pulled down from the championship spotlight and never got the opportunity to fight for the gold. The process of depriving Lashley of the title picture, drastically lowered his character, when he was in his prime. This could be one of the costliest mistakes under the Triple H era, as Lashley could be a game changer if he had fought for the gold.
1. Poor storylines
WWE made Lashley stuck in the same place for a longer period, without any storyline angles. The Hurt Business vs Bloodline was most expected during the time, but it never happened. The Pride would have made a better storyline in the blue brand, but buried. Some of the storylines and rivalries of Bobby Lashley had no closure, such as his feud with Brock Lesnar, Omos, Big E, Austin Theory, Lana, Rusev and more. Storyline angles could be a major problem with Lashley in his second run.
