The Hall of Famer was last seen on WWE television during the Raw Netflix debut.

WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan, was last seen on WWE television during the Raw Netflix debut, which emanated from the Intuit Dome on January 6, 2025. Hogan, alongside Jimmy Hart, appeared to advertise his Real American Beer.

Hogan was heavily booed by fans during the appearance and has since been absent from WWE television. The Hall of Famer is once again in the news, but for a different reason this time: conflicting reports from longtime friends Bubba The Love Sponge and Jacques Rougeau over Hogan’s health have left fans puzzled.

On his radio show, American Radio personality Bubba The Love Sponge gave an update on Hogan’s health, indicating the wrestling legend is now under comfort care at home after spending a significant amount of time in the hospital.

“Here’s what I got from my security guard. That he was transported to his house, but he’s in a hospital bed, They’ve gone as far as they can go at the hospital. Now they’re keeping him comfortable.” Bubba revealed.

Although Bubba didn’t explicitly say that Hogan is in hospice, he mentioned that the WWE legend no longer needs to remain close to emergency services and is considered stable enough to stay at home. Bubba also detailed the extraordinary measures allegedly taken to keep Hogan’s transport private.

“The security guard said the measures that they went to make sure nobody saw him transported in an ambulance to his home was like Michael Jackson type stuff… done through the loading docks, with unmarked ambulances followed by an escort… in the middle of the night.”

The conflicting report from Jacques Rougeau

Former WWE star and Hogan’s longtime friend, Jacques Rougeau, disputed the claims made by Bubba. Rougeau revealed that he has spoken to Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, and the situation is far less threatening than what Bubba claimed.

Rougeau, in a Facebook post, criticised everyone for spreading false rumors about his friend Hulk Hogan “being between life and death.”

“For all of you spreading rumors about my Man. HULK HOGAN being between life and death you are wrong, he’s recuperating slowly from a neck operation but it’s going well, I just talked with his son Nick and he told me all is well, he’s getting better 💪💪

Rougeau started his wrestling career using his real name, teaming up with his brother Raymond as part of The Fabulous Rougeaus. In 1991, he transitioned into a singles career under the persona of The Mountie.

On the other hand, Hulk Hogan has been dealing with multiple health problems in recent years. The Hall of Famer has been out of the public eye since May 2025. His limited appearances, combined with a history of major surgeries, have fueled speculation even more.

As the time of writing this article, neither Hogan nor his immediate family has released any official statement providing clarity on his condition.
