These pro wrestling stars receive the most hate online.

Since the rise of social media, fans have gained greater access to pro wrestling content and a direct way to connect with their favorite stars from WWE, AEW, and the wider wrestling world.

While this ease of access has meant a better relationship between stars and fans, it has also left stars vulnerable to online abuse and trolling. To analyze this abuse and trolling online, CryptoManiaks has published a report “using social listening and natural language tools.”

Crypto Maniaks Sports analyzed social media posts, comments, and mentions across some of the world’s biggest sports leagues and stars to uncover the athletes who receive the most abuse from fans. Maniaks published the top 15 most harassed athletes in the following sports: Football, NBA, the NFL, and WWE.

Overall, we analyzed well over 4 million social media posts, from X, Facebook, Reddit and Instagram across leagues, with the top 15 from each sport available in our report covering Football, NBA, the NFL and WWE.
