The WWE Universe in every country and city in Europe has proven to be as passionate as others and even more. Moreover, they have been witness to some of the best in-ring showdowns in the world. Here are the top seven iconic WWE PLEs that took place on the European continent.

7. WWE Rebellion (2002)

The fourth and final edition of WWE Rebellion made its way to Manchester, England, in 2002. It was a SmackDown exclusive event that featured major stars like Brock Lesnar, Edge, and Eddie Guerrero, marking WWE’s final outing for a special show on the continent for many years.

6. WWE Bash in Berlin (2024)

WWE came to Germany in 2024 for its first Premium Live Event in the country, Bash in Berlin. It was a spectacular show featuring modern-day stars like Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Dominik Mysterio. Furthermore, the event was headlined by a gruesome Strap match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, adding another chapter to their heated rivalry.

5. WWE No Mercy (1999)

WWE’s No Mercy event took place in Manchester, England, in 1999, during the heights of the Attitude Era. The show featured many old-school names in exciting matches.

The main event saw Steve Austin successfully defend his WWE title against Corporate Ministry members, Triple H, and The Undertaker.

4. WWE Clash at the Castle (2022)

2. WWE Clash in Paris (2025)

Clash in Paris was WWE’s return to France after Backlash. It featured John Cena’s last in-ring match in Europe, Roman Reigns getting destroyed alongside other top showdowns.

Moreover, the ending became iconic as Becky Lynch cost CM Punk a chance to win the World title and keep her husband, Seth Rollins‘ title reign intact.

1. WWE SummerSlam (1992)

WWE’s first big show in Europe was one of the big four, SummerSlam. It took place in 1992 at Wembley Stadium in London and drew an attendance record of close to 78,000 fans.

Moreover, it featured legendary names like Bret Hart, The British Bulldog, Hulk Hogan, and more, making it one of the most iconic WWE PLEs in Europe.
