Natalya is the longest tenured female WWE superstar.

Natalya is a third generation WWE Superstar from the Hart Wrestling family. She is the daughter of Jim Neidhart, who followed her family’s path into wrestling. She has been in WWE since 2007 and is one of the longest tenured female wrestlers in WWE.

Furthermore, she is a three time champion in WWE, where she won the WWE Divas Championship once, WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship once and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. She is the first woman to hold both the Divas Championship and SmackDOwn Women’s Championship.

Natalya on her seventeen-year-long run in WWE has made a number of Guinness World records. Natalya holds the record for most pay-per-view appearances of a female WWE wrestler, most matches for a female WWE wrestler, most wins by a female WWE wrestler, most WrestleMania appearances, Most matches in Raw and SmackDown.

Holding all these records, she claims herself as the BOAT (Best Of All Time). It was previously reported that her contract with WWE was reported to end sooner. Now a major update on her contact has been reported.

Natalya’s WWE contract status

Wrestling Observer previously reported that there was “nothing new” happening regarding Natalya’s contract status. They reported that no negotiations were made and her contract will be expiring by this Summer.

Following that, there has been a number of rumors that Natalya will be moving to AEW as most of the talents and staff have been pushing to make her a part of the company. As most of them are waiting for Natalya to jump ship from WWE to AEW, PWInsider confirmed that Natalya agreed to a new deal with WWE and will be remaining in the company, despite AEW rumors.

It is unknown how long the contract is and what are the additional compensations the company gave for her to secure the deal.

With this new deal, she will become the undisputed longest tenured female wrestler in WWE with 17+ years in WWE. Natalya last appeared on WWE TV on the June 4, 2024 episode of WWE NXT, where she fought Izzi Dame in a singles match and defeated her.
