Netflix announces premiere date for WWE Unreal Season 3 ft. John Cena's Farewell Tour & much more

The third season features John Cena’s retirement tour.
WWE Unreal, which first premiered on July 29, 2025, with a full season of 5 episodes, provided fans with unprecedented access behind the curtain and the workings of the promotion.
The second season of the series aired in January 2026, again with five episodes, including R-Truth’s exit and immediate return after fan backlash, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky’s match, Evolution, and much more. John Cena was also featured on the show, and as per the announcement, the third season is going to revolve around the 17-time WWE World Champion.
WWE Unreal Season 3 premieres on July 21
Netflix Sports via X (Twitter) announced that the third season of WWE Unreal will premiere on the platform on July 21.
“OFFICIAL:@WWE: Unreal Season 3 will release on Netflix on July 21. John Cena says goodbye, a fan favorite returns, and the next generation of WWE Superstars rise to the occasion. Buckle up” the caption read.
The promotion confirmed the news as well during the June 22 edition of Raw from the O2 Arena in London, as Cole noted that the season will feature John Cena’s goodbye, the return of a WWE superstar, the Road to WrestleMania 42, and much more.
Season 2 of Unreal concluded at SummerSlam 2025, where Cena dropped the Undisputed title to Cody Rhodes. It pulled back the curtain on WWE’s creative journey from WrestleMania 41 to SummerSlam 2025.
The remainder of the year saw Cena embrace his iconic babyface persona once again as he embarked on the final stretch of his in-ring career, culminating with his farewell match in December at Saturday Night’s Main Event against Gunther.
Neither the streaming giant nor WWE has revealed any additional details regarding the episodes or the Superstars who will be featured. We will provide an update once more information becomes available.
