Let’s discuss some of the WWE rumors doing the round on social media
The speculations of WWE rumors are one of the most favorite pastimes for WWE fans around the globe. Fans love to engage in discussions and debates regarding many facets of the pro wrestling game.
While rumors are sometimes filled with ambiguity, they keep the excitement going as we strive to discern reality from fiction. In today’s edition of rumor roundup, we look at some of the latest rumors that are being circulated among fans regarding the new Tribal Chief Championship, the highly anticipated return of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Drew McIntyre’s viral moment, and more.
New Tribal Chief Championship
After months of bad blood and clashes Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are going one-on-one in the WWE Raw debut episode on Netflix to determine who is the ‘Tribal Chief’. The two behemoths are scheduled to clash in the debut episode on January 6 at the Intuit Dome, Inglewood, California.
The two will face in a tribal combat match with the Ula Fala on the line for the clash. According to WrestleVotes Radio, the promotion is planning to introduce an ‘Undisputed Tribal Chief Championship’ for the Reigns and Solo rivalry at some point in the future.
“Sources indicate WWE has discussed introducing a Tribal Chief Championship into the storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, similar to the People’s Championship presented to The Rock at WrestleMania earlier this year.”
There is speculation that the proposed title won’t function as a typical championship defended at WWE events. Instead, it may serve as a symbolic prize within the ongoing feud, similar to how The Million Dollar Title or The Rock’s “People’s Championship” were treated.
The promotion’s intention behind this title would be to heighten the stakes in the intensely personal rivalry between Reigns and Sikoa, especially in their Tribal Combat match on January 6.
The Rock returns
The Rock’s last WWE appearance came during the final moments of Bad Blood 2024 PLE when Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns emerged victorious in the Bloodline rules tag-team match against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Since his last appearance, there has been a lot of speculation among fans about the return of the most electrifying superstar. According to multiple reports, Johnson will not be available for the WrestleMania event due to his busy schedule.

During a recent episode of the Red brand, General Manager Adam Pearce made the announcement of a match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins. In the segment, many fans noticed The Rock’s face on one of the WWE trucks.
This raised suspicions among fans, as many believed it to be a clue the promotion was leaving on the table. However, there is still no clarification from the promotion of Johnson’s appearance during the debut show.
Drew McIntyre’s viral moment
Last week, Drew McIntyre sent shockwaves through the wrestling community with a passionate promo on Busted Open Radio, dramatically ending the segment by dropping the mic and exiting the studio.
Recent reports state that McIntyre’s emotional segment on Busted Open Radio last week was entirely unscripted. The authentic outpouring reportedly resonated strongly with the fandom as the segment went viral on social media.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, people within the WWE loved the reaction Drew’s viral mic drop moment received. The promotion has also plans to give the Scottish star a big push in 2025.
“A source states that McIntyre’s viral comments on Busted Open Radio last week were not scripted in any way and that WWE loved the reaction to what went down. We are told McIntyre will be a huge focus as we head into 2025.”
The main event for WWE Raw on Netflix
The debut episode of the Red brand on the streaming giant Netflix is nearing, and speculation among fans about which match will be the main event of the debut show is rife.
During the recent WWE Raw On Netflix Kickoff Event, Michael Cole announced that the clash between CM Punk and Seth Rollins would be the main event for the debut show at the Intuit Dome.
Contrary to Michael Cole’s earlier announcement, recent reports suggest that the Tribal Combat clash will be the main event on the debut show on January 6.
According to recent reports from WrestleVotes Radio, the clash between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa will be the main event of the debut episode. Sikoa and Reigns will clash in a tribal combat match with the Ula Fala on the line.
