Oba Femi threatened to beat up Stephanie Vaquerâs boyfriend!
NXT Champion Oba Femi defended his title against Myles Borne at the 2025 edition of WWE NXT Battleground on May 25 at the Yeungling Centre in Tampa, Florida, while Stephanie Vaquer retained her title defeating Jordynne Grace at the show.
However, the thing that has been making headlines was not their title defense but Femi threatening to beat up Vaquer and accidentally revealing his identity in the process.
Femi was interviewed by WFLA in Tampa alongside Vaquer ahead of their title defense at Battleground 2025. During the interview, Femi said that he was looking forward to beating up Vaquerâs boyfriend.
âIâm looking forward to beating up Stephanieâs boyfriend a little bit.â Femi said.
Femi was in fact referring to his Battleground 2025 opponent, Myles Borne, who is a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew.
There is no substantial evidence that Myles Borne and Stephanie Vaquer are together. However, social media is rife with speculation that the couple is in a romance after being sighted together at events and hotels. Of course, according to the official records, Borne is married to Jadyn Bostian.
But it hasnât stopped the speculations. A fan on X wrote, âMyles Bourne allegedly split from his wife after 2 years of marriage and is now with Stephanie Vaquer. So many relationships develop in that NXT locker room.â
Since now both parties havenât confirmed their dating status, but with rumors fueling, we can expect more updates in the future.
Stephanie Vaquerâs journey in NXT
Stephanie Vaquer kicked off her WWE career with the developmental brand in 2024 and has risen to the top in a short amount of time. Vaquer battled Womenâs NXT Champion Giulia at NXT Roadblock in a winner-takes-all all match where her own NXT North American title was on the line. Vaquer became one of the few double champs in NXT and later relinquished the North American title to focus on her NXT Womenâs title reign.
Myles Borneâs journey in NXT
Myles Borne joined WWE in 2022 and is a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew stable. As mentioned, Borne recently battled Femi in a losing effort at NXT Battleground. Borne has also been dubbed Randy Orton 2.0 due to his resemblance to âThe Viperâ Randy Orton. Additionally, Myles is the only partially deaf wrestler to be employed by the Stamford-based promotion.
