Oba Femi and Bron Breakker faced off in a brutal battle over WWE’s future at Sunday Night’s Main Event
WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event featured a highly anticipated clash between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker, with Paul Heyman declaring that the contest could determine the “future of WWE.” Both men received major introductions from Heyman before they finally stood across from each other in the ring.
The opening exchanges immediately showcased the power of both competitors. Femi initially won a collar-and-elbow struggle and shoved Breakker into the corner, but Bron answered by sending the Nigerian powerhouse away during their next lockup. Femi shrugged off a shoulder block before Breakker did the same.
Femi then flattened Breakker with a lariat and chased him to the floor. He delivered a shoulder block and a Lawn Dart into the apron, but Breakker escaped a follow-up scoop and drove Femi into the ringpost. When Bron charged across the apron, Femi stopped him with a thunderous chop.

Back inside, Femi sent Breakker over the ropes with a clothesline and cleared the announce desk. Bron fought back, repeatedly bouncing Femi’s head off the desk before launching himself with a diving lariat over the announce table.
Breakker continued his assault with running uppercuts, a fireman’s carry double-knee gutbuster and a sleeper hold with bodyscissors. Femi eventually escaped and hit a German suplex, but Breakker quickly resumed control.
While taunting Femi, Breakker repeatedly asked him, “future of what?” The question appeared to anger The Ruler, who grabbed Bron by the throat. Breakker escaped by kicking his leg out and sending Femi to the floor.
The action intensified as the two exchanged heavy strikes. Femi absorbed a German suplex and immediately returned with a lariat before unloading with more lariats, a big boot and three charging uppercuts. A chokeslam followed, but Breakker kicked out at two.
Chaos ends the contest
Breakker attempted to exploit Femi with an attack at ringside, but The Ruler met him with a huge shoulder. Austin Theory then ran in and was thrown into the announce desk before Breakker hit Femi with a spear.
Bron connected with another spear inside the ring, but Femi survived again. Logan Paul attempted to interfere with brass knuckles, only for referee Eddie Orengo to intercept him and eject him from ringside.
However, Maxxine Dupri appeared on the opposite side of the ring and handed Breakker another set of brass knuckles. Femi ducked the loaded punch and hit a tossing slam.
Before Femi could capitalize, “Big” Bronson Reed returned and blasted Oba with a steel chair, forcing the referee to call for the bell.
Winner: Oba Femi
Oba Femi won by disqualification.
After the match, Reed continued his attack with additional chairshots before hitting Femi with the 747 Splash.
