WWE should consider resurrecting some old and popular pay-per-view concepts amidst recent rumors.

Over four decades, the global juggernaut of wrestling, WWE, has produced various theme shows for its pay-per-view shows (known as Premium Live Events). While some fascinating concepts for the show existed, they were abandoned at one point or another.

However, a recent discussion stated that WWE might consider bringing back a classic pay-per-view as a Premium Live Event later this year, which could also see the possibility of other concepts being resurrected. Here are the five WWE PPVs that should come back:

5. Cyber Sunday

The one PPV show centered around the People’s Choice was WWE Cyber Sunday. The exciting event allowed WWE Universe to take control for one night and decide matches, opponents, and stipulations. This has seen some spectacular matches take place and could be the show that would work very well in the Triple H regime, citing staggering business and huge traction by fans.

4. Bragging Rights

Much like the WWE Survivor Series, Bragging Rights was a battle between the brands of WWE’s main roster shows, RAW and SmackDown. Champions and other superstars from both shows competed against each other in enthralling matches.

Furthermore, the event was highlighted by a multi-man elimination match, with the winning team receiving the show trophy and earning bragging rights for their brand, being a good addition to the modern era.

3. Breaking Point

WWE Breaking Point was a show dedicated to one of the most important parts of wrestling: submission moves and physical battering matches. The show only saw one edition but was capped by enthralling matches by top stars like Randy Orton and John Cena. Moreover, it was the sight that witnessed the first-ever controversial submission tap out by The Undertaker against Kurt Angkle in July 2002. It could be brought back as an exciting PLE for today’s audience.

2. Extreme Rules

The one night in WWE where all bets were off and all rules were thrown out of the window was known as WWE Extreme Rules. The show produced many successful editions over the years, with some of the most physically battering matches, such as No Holds Barred, Last Man Standing, Steel Cage and many more. With traces of the Attitude Era back in the modern regime, Triple H and his crew should bring back Extreme Rules as a top PLE for the company.

1. Bad Blood

The historic event that revamped the discussion to resurrect old pay-per-view concepts in recent memory was a show known as WWE Bad Blood. The history of the show has seen top-tier matches, such as the first-ever and famous Hell in a Cell match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker and also saw the debut of the Big Red Monster, Kane.

With Bad Blood being considered a PLE to be brought back in October 2024, it could be a historic addition to the modern era and set the tone for more old and popular PPVs to be brought back.
