Seth Rollins will face CM Punk in Raw’s Netflix debut episode
According to recent reports from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, a match between CM Punk and Roman Reigns has been “heavily discussed” by the WWE for WrestleMania 41.
Earlier reports suggested that the feud between Rollins and Punk would continue till WrestleMania 41 culminating in their clash at the grandest stage.
The 41st edition of WrestleMania is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on April 19 and 20, 2025 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, USA.
If WWE books this match for the grand stage in April, it means Seth Rollins won’t face Punk at Allegiant Stadium. Let’s look at the top five opponents The Visionary could face if WWE books Punk vs Reigns.
5. Bron Breakker
The Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker recently defended his title against Ludwig Kaiser in the recent episode of the Red brand. Breakker is also coming off a successful title defense against Sheamus and Kaiser in a triple-threat match at Survivor Series 2024 PLE.
Breaker’s title reign is currently at 61 days, and with three successful defenses, the IC Champion’s stardom continues to grow. A clash against the Visionary at the grandest stage would catapult Breakker even further into the main event scene solidifying his status in the history books.

4. Gunther
‘The Ring General’ Gunther is another potential opponent for Rollins at the grandest stage. Gunther, the World Heavyweight Champion, is in the midst of a 140-day title reign. Meanwhile, Rollins began the year as Heavyweight Champion, with a reign that has now lasted 316 days.
A clash between the two Titans would be a spectacular match for fans and would further fuel the storyline between Rollins and Punk. The Second City Saint has repeatedly expressed his desire to fight for the title, and with his fierce rival cutting in line to win it, tensions between the two would intensify.
It would also be a monumental achievement for The Visionary to dethrone such a dominant champion at the grandest stage, with millions of fans witnessing the moment.
3. Drew McIntyre
McIntyre recently made his return earlier this month and attacked Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. The Scottish Warrior made it clear that he would target everyone from the OG Bloodline faction. Rollins too has a deep hatred for Roman Reigns.
On the recent episode of the Red brand, McIntyre tried to exploit this by hinting at Rollins to join forces in taking down Reigns and the OG faction. However, Rollins made it clear that just because they have the same enemy it doesn’t make them friends.
The Visionary also pointed out that he has a problem with Reings not with the rest of the faction as he considers The Usos and Sami Zayn his friend. Later in the episode, it seemed like Drew was about to attack Seth when Sami Zayn intercepted and attacked McIntyre.
The promotion can use this narrative to build a storyline between the two which would culminate in April at the Allegiant Stadium. The two stars clashed earlier in this year’s WrestleMania where McIntyre defeated Rollins to become the World Heavyweight title.
However, Drew’s celebration lasted mere seconds when Damian Priest cashed in his MITB briefcase and snatched the title from the Scottish Warrior.
2. Solo Sikoa
The Visionary made it clear last month when Solo Sikoa tried to recruit him for the men’s WarGames clash against the OG faction that he not only hates Reigns but also has a dislike for ‘a wannabe Roman Reigns’.
Sikoa was irked by this comment and later interfered in Rollins’ match against Bronson Reed. The interference not only cost Rollins the match but Reed also joined Sikoa’s faction at WarGames.
A potential matchup between Sikoa and Seth would not only do huge numbers but it would also add to the complex storyline of the Bloodline.
1. Bronson Reed
The Visionary was involved in a fierce feud with Bronson Reed before Survivor Series PLE that saw the two stars going after each other multiple times. The feud had an intense face-off, backstage brawls, and high-octane clashes.
The two stars collided at Crown Jewel 2024 PLE where Rollins picked up the win after delivering three brutal stomps. However, Reed quickly got up on his feet and called the Visionary back into the ring.
The two stars continued their feud after the Crown Jewel PLE but it was ultimately put on hold when Reed joined Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline for Survivor Series 2024 PLE. Reed is currently out of action due to an injury he sustained during the WarGames match.
If the promotion decides to book Punk against Reigns then reigniting Seth’s feud with Reed when he makes his return makes the most sense.
