The luchador debuted in the WWE in January amid much fanfare!
Mexican wrestling sensation, Penta formerly known as Penta El Zero Miedo made his WWE debut in January 2025 amid much fanfare as many considered him one of the greatest luchadors. The luchador started his pro wrestling career in 2004 and was signed to AEW before his WWE debut.
In a short time in WWE, Penta has created waves with his jaw-dropping, high-flying moves, he defeated American Made’s leader Chad Gable in his debut. He has continued the momentum and defeated Pete Dunne in his second match.
The luchador then entered the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match in February at number 2 but failed to win the match as he was eliminated, he lasted a total of 42:05 in the Rumble match. A brief feud with Pete Dunne and Ludwig Kaiser, saw him win three more matches continuing his undefeated streak.
Penta then shifted his focus on capturing the Intercontinental title as he battled the IC Champion Bron Breakker on the March 24 episode of Raw. However, due to outside interference from the Judgment Day the match ended in disqualification.
While the DQ meant the title stayed with Breakker, the encounter kicked off a feud involving Breakker, Penta, and The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Dominik Mysterio). The four stars will now battle at the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’.
Breakker is set to defend the IC title in a fatal-four-way match involving the luchador along with Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor at the 41st edition of the WrestleMania 41 PLE on April 20. Penta is aiming to emerge victorious and capture his first WWE title. Ahead of the clash here’s the WrestleMania record of the luchador.
Penta’s WrestleMania record
S. No | WrestleMania edition | Date | Opponent | Stipulation | Result | WrestleMania record |
01. | 41 | April 20, 2025 | Fatal four-way match for the Intercontinental title | Fatal four way match for the Intercontinental title | TBD | TBD |
The fatal four-way match at the WrestleMania 41 PLE will be the first Mania appearance for the luchador, who also is yet to capture a title in the WWE. Furthermore, Finn Balor became the only man until now to pin the luchador as the Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & Finn Balor) defeated the luchador who teamed up with Breakker in a tag team clash.
The feud itself was interesting but the visible tension between the two Judgment Day members and Balor pinning the luchador has made things more intriguing.
