Pete Dunne revealed why he attacked Sheamus on 7/15 WWE Raw

Pete Dunne & Sheamus have a long history together as Brawling Brutes

Sheamus & Pete Dunne (fka Butch) worked as a unit under the name Brawling Brutes since 2021. They had a major storyline angle in the SmackDown brand, however, the team disbanded after Sheamus’ hiatus and Ridge Holland walking out of the stable. Holland moved to the NXT, however Sheamus and Pete Dunne are currently a part of Raw.

Last week, Sheamus saved Dunne from Bronson Reed and tried to reunite with him, however, Dunne walked away from him. This week, The Bruiserweight helped The Celtic warrior from Reed to return the favor. When Sheamus tried to shake his hands, he neglected it. However, Dunne attacked him from the back to let Reed deliver a Tsunami on his former friend. At this stage, both Sheamus & Dunne reacted to the moment and Dunne revealed the actual reason behind his attack on WWE Raw.

Sheamus reacts to Pete Dunne’s attack

Following Pete Dunne’s attack, Sheamus appeared on a digital exclusive interview backstage, with confusion over why Dunne is having so much beef with him. He said that all he did for him was to lift him up, but he attacked him without a reason. He was pretty confused and asked them to clarify with Dunne.

Sheamus said, “Why has Pete Dunne got so much beef on me? All I ever did is try to help that lad out and lift him up. He’s got so much beef. For a vegan lad, he’s got more beef than anyone else. I don’t get it. I don’t get why everyone has beef with me. I don’t get it. Maybe you should ask Pete Dunne what his problem is cuz I don’t know.”

Pete Dunne’s warning to Sheamus

Pete Dunne after this week’s episode of Raw appeared on Raw Talk, where Dunne addressed the reason behind his attack on his former friend Sheamus. Dunne warned Sheamus saying that he is not his corner man to lift him anymore. He said that it is the beginning of Bruiserweight, who is here to tear people down.

Pete Dunne said, “What are you asking me for? Go find Sheamus and ask him because he knows. As for tonight, I went out with receipts and Bronson Reed got his. So, let’s take tonight as a reintroduction to the Bruiserweight. The Bruiserweight is no corner man. I’m not here to lift people up, I tear people down.”

Sheamus Beef List

After the segment, Sheamus on X/Twitter listed the names of WWE Superstars who have beef with him at present.

Sheamus wrote, “Glad i ain’t no vegetarian, Pete Dunne – beef, Bronson Reed – beef, Bron Breakker – beef, Ludwig Kaiser – beef, Drew McIntyre – beef, ..am I leaving anyone out? #BeefList”
