The dynamics of the final PLE of 2025 have changed after Seth Rollins’ unfortunate injury.

WWE’s annual PLE for the month of November will be the thrilling and exhilarating Survivor Series, once again taking place under the WarGames format. The Premium Live Event has been announced to take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California.

Much like every year, the WarGames match is expected to happen for both the Men’s and Women’s divisions. Amidst the road to WWE Survivor Series, Seth Rollins will not compete at the show. It was announced that Rollins suffered a shoulder injury and underwent surgery for the same.

This led to Rollins being stripped of his World Heavyweight Championship and betrayed by his faction, The Vision. With The Visionary out of the mix, here are the two potential WarGames matches that can take place at the namesake PLE:

Women’s WarGames match: Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka, Becky Lynch & Giulia vs Tiffany Stratton, Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky & Maxxine Dupri

The competitors from the WWE women’s division could see RAW’s Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka, and Becky Lynch recruit SmackDown’s US champion, Giulia, on one side.

The other side could see the Judgment Day members, current and past rivals, WWE Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, and Rhea Ripley.

They could bring Rhea’s cohort and Asuka’s friend turned foe, Iyo Sky, to their team, who has a special trash can connection with the WarGames match.

To fill up the last two slots, Becky Lynch and Giulia’s respective rivals, Maxxine Dupri and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, can join the other side, and this would set the stage for an epic WarGames showdown between the female in-ring competitors.

Men’s WarGames match: Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, CM Punk & John Cena vs Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, Austin Theory & Rusev

The men’s division could see one of the most star-studded WarGames take place this year at WWE Survivor Series. The heel side could see Vision’s rising stars, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, bring another powerhouse, Rusev, and the absent star, Austin Theory, to their squad for the match.

However, their major trump card could be their mentor, Paul Heyman’s former client, The Beast Brock Lesnar, as their dominant force.

However, standing across from them could be the squad of the OG Bloodline: Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns.

They could be joined by The Best in the World, CM Punk, and the most must-see addition to their team, The Last Real Champion, John Cena, who will make his final in-ring appearance at Survivor Series.

When and where will Survivor Series 2025 take place?

The 39th annual Survivor Series will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The show will be the final main roster PLE of the year.

Has WWE announced any matches for the final PLE of 2025?

No, the promotion has not announced any matches, but the PLE will feature the traditional men’s and women’s WarGames match.
