Four possible directions for Oba Femi following main roster debut on WWE Raw

The former NXT Champion made an emphatic main-roster debut.
‘The Ruler’ Oba Femi made a dominant statement in the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble, racking up five eliminations and showcasing his incredible strength throughout the match.
Femi’s elimination total matched that of the eventual winner, Roman Reigns, underscoring just how impactful his performance was on the night. After the dominant performance, the former NXT Champion made his Monday Night Raw debut this week.
Femi, in his debut, decimated War Raiders (Erik & Ivar), who were waiting for their opponents for a supposed tag match. However, Oba appeared instead, taking them both out to announce his main roster arrival. Let us now take a look at the four possible directions for him on the main roster.
4. A feud with Rusev
Following his triumphant return last year after Mania, Rusev’s WWE push has dwindled, with the star being absent from regular programming for a long time due to a lack of creative direction. Rusev did partake in the Rumble match, but was quickly eliminated in 32 seconds by Femi.
WWE can use this angle to create a feud between the two, which would give Rusev some much-needed TV time and help Femi elevate on the main roster. The clash between the two brawlers will make for compelling television for fans.
3. Target the Intercontinental title
Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio made his return from injury this week, at a time when there is a lot of tension among the Judgment Day members. Oba could capitalize on this opportunity to face Dirty Dom one-on-one without interference from his stablemates.
A mid-card title win for the former NXT Champion would instantly make him one of the top names on the Red brand, creating fresh new storylines and feuds on the Road to WrestleMania.
2. Participate in the Chamber qualifying matches
The qualifying matches for the men’s Elimination Chamber 2026 will commence next week on Raw in Cleveland, Ohio. Femi partaking in the qualifiers would introduce a fresh new face in the run for the title contention at WrestleMania 42.
Femi will be a favorite to win the qualifiers, as there are likely very few stars who can outgrapple the Ruler. Additionally, another major performance at the Chamber PLE will be helpful in making him a top star.
1. Callout Brock Lesnar
After a triumphant performance in the Rumble, Femi faced off against ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar, a sight that intrigued fans. Lesnar then managed to halt Oba’s momentum and eliminate him from the match, ending his incredible Rumble debut.
One of the ideal ways for Femi right now would be to engage in a feud with Lesnar. Ashowdonw between the two behemoths would be ideal for the ‘Grandest Stage‘ in April.

Following his Royal Rumble debut, Femi signed with the Red brand, making his debut this week in Philadelphia.
