WWE Raw Summary and Highlights
Bron Breakker wants answers

Bron Breakker was ringside as the Raw broadcast began. Bron cleared off the announce table and started mouthing off at Corey Graves and Michael Cole. Breakker flipped over the table, picked up a microphone, and called out to Adam Pearce as Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Paul Heyman, and Austin Theory rushed in to try to calm him down.
Breakker stated that Pearce ruined his Rumble and that he would now ruin the entire episode of Raw. Heyman picked up the mic as the rest of the group tried to restrain Bron. Heyman said it wasn’t Bron’s fault, blaming the situation on them putting him at number two. Bron snatched the microphone back and called out Pearce, saying he was going to count to three.
GM Adam Pearce walked out with security and asked if Bron wasn’t bored. Pearce said Bron drew the number himself, that he didn’t know who the masked man was, and that the last masked man they had seen turned out to be Austin Theory. Pearce added that he would let Bron keep his job despite the “piss-poor” Rumble performance.
Breakker snapped and darted out of the ring as Reed tried to stop him. LA Knight’s music hit, and the Megastar entered the ring, attacking Logan Paul and Theory with a steel chair. Reed rushed back into the ring as Knight escaped, leaving Breakker even more irked as he asked Heyman what they were doing.
Grade: B
Insights & Backstage Moments:
- A great and short segment to capitalize on the chaos and confusion over the identity of the masked man who attacked Breakker during the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Je’Von Evans vs El Grande Americano
In the first match of the show, Je’Von Evans battled El Grande Americano while still struggling from the effects of Rumble. Rayo and Bravo Americano helped El Grande take control of the action and handed him the metal plate when the ‘Original’ El Grande Americano (definitely not Chad Gable) arrived.
Referee caught the metal plate and removed it from El Grande’s hand as Evans capitalized on the distraction, hitting the OG cutter to pin the ‘New’ El Grande Americano.
Winner: Je’Von Evans
Grade: B
Match Insights & Backstage Moments:
- The last meeting on January 19 between Evans and Americano was called off due to an undisclosed injury. That said, Evans made a quick return last week and even participated in the Rumble match.
- During the commercials, Jey Uso arrived alongside Jimmy Uso for a promo. Big Jim revealed that they will defend the World Tag Team titles against the Alpha Academy next week. Jey congratulated the OTC, Roman Reigns, for his win in the men’s Rumble match.
The Phenomenal General?

AJ Styles’ music hit as the crowd erupted, but the reaction quickly turned to boos when Gunther walked out with pyros going off behind him. Gunther soaked in the negative reaction, laughing it off. A “Career Killer” moniker appeared on the screen beside his name, officially introducing his new nickname.
The Ring General stated that, just like Goldberg and John Cena, AJ Styles found out that when someone steps into the ring with the Career Killer, their career dies. He then cut a promo in German before Dragon Lee darted into the ring.
Lee, who had been AJ Styles’ tag partner, attacked Gunther and took him out with a suicide dive from the ropes, sending him crashing into the ring post before knocking him over the barricade. Lee went to attack Gunther again, but the Ring General struck him with the ring bell.
Gunther then locked in a sleeper hold at ringside as officials and security rushed in to try to diffuse the situation. Gunther returned to the ring and pulled Lee up, locking in the hold on the ropes until Lee went limp. The Ring General finally released the hold, causing Lee to slam hard onto the apron as officials checked on him.
Grade: A-
Insights & Backstage Moments:
- WWE officially debuted Gunther’s ‘Career Killer’ moniker during his entrance, Cole even acknowledged it on the commentary, while Gunther mentioned it in the promo.
- Backstage, Paul Heyman informed GM Adam Pearce that he intended to book Bron Breakker against LA Knight for the show. Pearce shut the idea down, explaining that LA Knight had already been ejected from the building and suggesting that Heyman should remove Bron as well. Heyman pushed back, asking if Pearce understood who he was dealing with and where they were. Pearce responded coldly, warning him that some lines shouldn’t be crossed and that consequences come with testing him.
- During the commercials, Maxxine Dupri cut a promo warning Natalya (Nattie) ahead of their clash next week.
- In another backstage segment, Bron Breakker was crashing out, while Heyman tried and failed to calm him down.
Oba Femi’s debut & The Bella Twins return
War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) were in the ring waiting for their opponents when Oba Femi walked out instead, alone, without a tag partner. Femi stepped into the ring as the War Raiders attempted to attack him, but he quickly overpowered both Erik and Ivar, officially making his Monday Night Raw debut. The segment ended with Femi standing tall after delivering a Fall From Grace to Erik.
The Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki Bella) made their way into the ring after commercials. Nikki said it was a full-circle moment, noting that the Bella Twins were together on Raw for the first time in seven years. She hyped up their return as “YES” chants erupted from the crowd.
Brie thanked the fans, saying she was finally home, but clarified that she wasn’t back because Nikki needed saving. Brie explained that the real reason for her return was that she and Nikki were the OGs, and it was time for the Bella Twins to go after the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Grade: B for Femi’s debut & D for the Bella Twins
Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Nikki noted during the segment that it was the first time The Bella Twins had been in a WWE RAW ring in seven years.
- A video package aired where Finn Balor spoke about never receiving the respect he felt he had earned in WWE. He said he was constantly overlooked and taken for granted despite delivering time and time again. Balor questioned how Adam Pearce could tell him the Royal Rumble was full after everything he had done. Finn made it clear that he wasn’t satisfied with being passed over; he wanted more. He said he wanted everything, and specifically set his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship.
Penta vs Bronson Reed
Accompanied by Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory, Bronson Reed walked out to battle Penta. The Vision members interfered in the match when things got tough for Reed, but the Luchador managed to fight them off. However, he accidentally took out the referee in the process. This also helped Reed recover as he fired back with a Jagged Edge, followed by the Tsunami, but there was no official present to make the count.
Reed stepped out of the ring and picked up a steel chair, when LA Knight came out of nowhere and hit him with a BFT straight onto the chair. Knight then escaped as Theory and Logan attempted to chase him through the crowd. The referee returned to the ring and began the count, which Reed failed to beat, and Penta was announced the winner via count-out.
Winner: Penta via count-out
Grade: B
Match Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Knight returning after the vicious attack by the Vision and constantly terrorizing the faction, while they’re struggling with back-to-back setback should be used to set up something for the Elimination Chamber, if not Mania.
Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Raquel Rodriguez – Philadelphia street fight for the Women’s World title
Dominik Mysterio made his return and said the only reason he came back, and showed up in a place like Philadelphia was to celebrate and introduce the winner of the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan. Morgan appeared moments later, sprinting to the ring and leaping straight into Dominik’s arms.
Morgan said fans would have to wait longer to hear her WrestleMania decision, adding that she would be on SmackDown to survey her options. She then hyped up Raquel Rodriguez, stating that a new Women’s World Champion would be crowned later that night.
Rodriguez thanked Liv for the introduction and said it had been an incredible week for the group. While they had been celebrating Liv’s Rumble victory, Rodriguez pointed out that they still hadn’t addressed why Liv eliminated her in the match. Morgan deflected the question, refocusing on Rodriguez’s title opportunity and saying that a win for one was a win for all, adding that the more, the merrier.
Rodriguez then asked Liv to remain backstage for the title match. Liv agreed and exited as Stephanie Vaquer made her entrance to defend the title in a Philadelphia Street Fight. Rodriguez targeted Vaquer’s recently healed ankle and had an answer for the Champion’s offense. Vaquer mounted a comeback, hitting the Devil’s Kiss, one on a steel chair, the other on the steel steps ringside.
However, Vaquer too was unable to secure the three-count. Liv Morgan then appeared, picked up the title, and handed it to Raquel, but Vaquer immediately countered, whipping Rodriguez into the corner and then took out Liv with a kick. Roxanne Perez then rushed in, only for Vaquer to drop her with a headbutt that sent Perez crashing through a table at ringside.
In the end, Vaquer sent Rodriguez crashing through a table with a hurricanrana, followed by a corkscrew splash, to retain the title in the Philadelphia Street Fight. After the match, Liv Morgan hit Vaquer with Oblivion and picked up the championship, posing with it to tease a potential WrestleMania showdown.
Winner & Still: Stephanie Vaquer
Grade: B+
Insights & Backstage Moments:
- Fans were very vocal online about WWE changing Vaquer’s theme song, despite no real demand from fans.
- Cole noted during the intros that it was the third time Vauqer and Rordiguez had collided inside the squared circle.
- It is likely due to the title match that WWE decided to just mention Liv eliminating Raquel, and the angle will likely pick up steam next week, especially since Raquel asked Liv to remain backstage for the title match
Zebros no more

Roman Reigns, reflecting on his history in Philly, noted that he had experienced both highs and lows in the city. He had won his first WWE title there on his daughter’s birthday, but he had also lost his last championship in the same city. Reigns also mentioned winning his first Royal Rumble in Philadelphia and pointed out that the city on the schedule after last week’s Rumble was again Philly.
He said it was the perfect location given his history there. Reigns then asked the crowd to help him make a decision for WrestleMania. “CM PUNK” chants erupted, prompting Reigns to ask if the fans didn’t want him to face Drew McIntyre or if they preferred CM Punk. The crowd cheered loudly for Punk, and moments later, CM Punk walked out to the arena. Reigns removed his jacket, ready for action.
The World Champion entered the ring, and the two stared each other down before Punk called out Finn Balor, saying he would get his hands on him soon. Reigns, visibly irked, asked why Punk interrupted just to call out Balor. Punk reminded him that it was his show, Reigns was the visitor, and as champion, he called the shots on Raw.
Punk mocked Reigns for asking the crowd to help him make a decision, questioning if he really needed their input. Punk named Drew McIntyre, which brought boos, then mentioned his own name, drawing cheers. He told Reigns that his mind was already made up and suggested he take the “easy way out” and choose Drew. Reigns responded that while he didn’t like Drew, he wasn’t the easy choice.
He reminded Punk that Drew was four times his size and that the last time Punk faced him, he had him crying over a plastic bracelet. Punk countered, noting that while Reigns had beaten Drew, he was the one to defeat Drew most dominantly in a Hell in a Cell match. The OTC added that he, too, had beaten Drew multiple times, as Punk questioned him and how many of his cousins, hinting at the Bloodline’s constant help.
Reigns said he had heard Punk talk about his family, who had given him a home to return to. Punk admitted Reigns was partly right but accused him of manipulating his family and many others, claiming that while Reigns acted like a messiah holding the place up, in reality, he held it hostage.
Punk reminded Reigns that on the McAfee Show, he had said nobody had filled his shoes or followed in his footsteps, and noted his own title reign of over 400 days with Paul Heyman, and argued that Reigns followed in his path; doing it longer didn’t make it better. Punk said he wasn’t upset that Reigns chose to be a part-timer, but he chose to return to WWE, appear for fans every week, and be a fighting champion.
He reminded Reigns that he brought him and The Shield to WWE and that he was proud of him. The Second City Saint then stated there were two options for Reigns at WrestleMania: one was Drew McIntyre, and the other was the best in the world, the World Heavyweight Champion himself.
The OTC responded, laughing, saying Punk had been making it to every town because he had taken a 10-year vacation. He admitted he had learned from Punk and wouldn’t be where he was without him, revealing that WWE had asked him about Punk before signing him back. Reigns said Punk had returned, tried to manipulate him and his cousin, and mocked him.
He declared that if he were a young boy, he might have chosen differently, but now he was picking Punk out of hatred; he had always hated him, and in the main event, Punk would finally acknowledge him. Reigns dropped the mic and left as the Champion laughed in the backdrop of the WrestleMania sign, ending the show on a high note.
Grade: A+
Insights & Backstage Moments:
- This was such a big-time promo from both to set up the WrestleMania showdown, addressing the deep history between the two.
- While it seems like Reigns will not be a constant presence on the Road to WrestleMania, the two made enough hype for the match in the scathing promo.
- McIntyre and the Undisputed title got absolutely obliterated in this promo, something which could have been avoided.
