The Bloodline civil war started with Roman Reigns’ shock appearance at the 2024 SummerSlam and it has spilled over onto the upcoming Bad Blood PLE.

In an unexpected collaboration, the former Undisputed WWE Universal champion would team up with the current champ, Cody Rhodes to take on his cousins, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Here, we take a look at the top five possible finishes for Rhodes and Reigns’ monumental tag team match this Saturday.

5. Cody Rhodes turns heel and betrays Roman Reigns

Cody Rhodes has emerged as an unlikely ally for Roman Reigns in his familial feud. But what if it’s all a ruse? The WWE universe has only seen the good side of the second-generation wrestler ever since his return in 2022.

A surprise heel turn and betrayal of Reigns will not only shock the entire world but also open doors for endless possibilities regarding the storylines that can be pursued by a villainous Rhodes.

With ‘The Original Tribal Chief’ already turning into a babyface, the balance on the SmackDown! roster will be restored if The American Nightmare turns to the darker side. Of course, it would mean a certain loss for Reigns at the Bad Blood PLE against his cousins.

4. The Bloodline Ditch Solo Sikoa and Ally with Roman Reigns

Solo Sikoa’s regime as the tribal chief of the Bloodline has not exactly been trailblazing. Various signs point towards discontentment in the ranks of the family stable.

Hence, it wouldn’t be an earth-shattering event if Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa decide to ditch Solo Sikoa in favor of Reigns at the Bad Blood PLE. Granted, it will turn the whole saga on its head, but isn’t that what WWE is known for?

3. Kevin Owens costs Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns the tag team match

Kevin Owens is not a man to forget his past grudges. This much is apparent from his anger towards Cody Rhodes for allying with his eternal rival Roman Reigns. It remains to be seen how pissed off Owens really is? Or how far is he willing to display his discontentment toward this unlikely team-up of Reigns and Rhodes. Moreover, the Canadian grappler’s path has been intertwined with the Bloodline for years. Hence, if KO does interfere in the tag team match at the Bad Blood PLE, he could do so to throw the OTC and the American Nightmare under the bus. Needless to say, the former US champion would turn into a heel if he does end up costing the babyfaces their match.

2. Jimmy Uso assists Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to win the match

Jimmy Uso was an integral part of the Roman Reigns-led Bloodline faction back in the day. The way he was taken out of action by his own ruthless brother Solo Sikoa, there is certainly a story to be told there. What better way than setting things up for a showdown between the brothers by having Uso interfere in Saturday’s tag-team match on behalf of Reigns?

1. Paul Heyman appears and shockingly turns against The Original Tribal Chief

Paul Heyman was another casualty of the Solo Sikoa-led version of the Bloodline faction. The conventional wisdom says that the contriving manager would return and aid his long-term associate Roman Reigns at the Bad Blood PLE.

However, WWE’s way of doing things is often something that is not in the wildest dreams of the fans. What if Heyman does appear in the 5th October event, but instead of helping out Reigns, he betrays his client and accepts Sikoa as his one true tribal chief?

Such a mind-boggling twist could work wonders for the 32-year-old as the Wise Man’s guidance could help elevate his stars in the promotion. On the other hand, Reigns does not need any manager to assist him now and is perfectly capable on his own.

Roman Reigns built the Bloodline stable from scratch, brick by brick through years of work. Seeing his brainchild hijacked so blatantly by his cousin, Solo Sikoa, would be quite painful. Even though Reigns enters the battlefield alongside Cody Rhodes as his partner, he doesn’t blindly trust his eternal adversary. It remains to be seen what WWE has in store for this consequential tag team encounter at the Bad Blood PLE.
