Top three possible matches for LA Knight at WWE Bash in Berlin 2024

LA Knight became the United States Champion by defeating Logan Paul at the 2024 SummerSlam PLE in Logan’s hometown Cleveland, Ohio. It is Mega Star’s maiden title win in WWE and it has excited a number of fans. Knight is currently on the mission to make the title prestigious, by defending the title more frequently, with the spirit of a fighting champ.

LA Knight is all set to defend his United States Championship against Santos Escobar on the upcoming August 23, 2024 episode of SmackDown, which is just eight days from PLE in Germany. Since Knight is a fighting champ, there is a possibility that he could still defend his title at Bash in Berlin. So here we take a look at the top three possible matches for LA Knight at the WWE Bash in Berlin PLE.

3. Fatal Four Way Match involving Andrade, Santos Escobar & Carmelo Hayes

The top three stars who are in the line for the US title shot are Santos Escobar, Andrade, and Carmelo Hayes. Where Andrade got pinned by both Hayes and Escobar back to back in two weeks. Andrade already has a history of pinning both of them in a singles match.

If the US title match next week on SmackDown got interfered by Hayes, Andrade could be involved causing the match to go under fatal 4-way rules at Bash in Berlin. This puts the champ in the real threat, as there is no champion’s advantage.

2. Triple Threat Match with Santos Escobar & Carmelo Hayes

Santos Escobar became the #1 Contender for the United States Championship, by defeating Andrade. In the same way, Carmelo Hayes also defeated Andrade the following week. If defeating Andrade is a criteria, then Hayes also deserves a title shot. If the Escobar vs Knight match ends in a disqualification, by the interference of Melo, there is a high chance that the match gets booked for Bash in Berlin as a Triple Threat Match for the US title.

LA Knight is all set to defend his United States Championship against Santos Escobar on the 8/23 episode of SmackDown. However, a controversial finish of the upcoming match on SmackDown could result in a potential rematch at Bash in Berlin PLE. Escobar has never competed in a singles match in the Premium Live Event in recent times, and this could provide him the opportunity to step in the PLE for a singles match.
