Tonight’s show of the Red brand will emanate from Atlanta
Ahead of tonight’s show of Monday Night Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce made the announcement that Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn will collide once again following the developments from last week’s episode.
The feud between the two stars reignited when McIntyre attacked Zayn in his return last month and vowed to take down every member of the OG Bloodline. McIntyre successfully defeated Zayn in their clash at the December 14 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and capped the win with another win on the December 16 episode of the Red brand.
On last week’s episode, McIntyre took on Seth Rollins where Rollins won the match but Drew launched an assault shortly. Sami rushed in to aid Rollins and attacked McIntyre, following the brawl both stars requested a clash, the request was honored by Pearce as the two will now collide tonight in Atlanta.
Ahead of their clash tonight, let us take a look at the five possible outcomes for the showdown between the two stars.
5. Karrion Kross interferes
The leader of the Final Testament, Karrion Kross has been hinting at a feud with Sami Zayn in recent times. Kross has openly criticized Zayn and was also lurking in the background during the backstage segment between Zayn and Seth Rollins.
Kross has also reacted to the match announcement between Zayn and McIntyre stating the showdown is a “cosmic experiment”. Karrion has been hinting at a feud against Sami since their backstage interaction on the 01/13 show involving The Miz and tonight he might decide to act on it and attack Zayn during the match.
4. Roman Reigns appears to aid Sami Uso
‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns has ordered Paul Heyman to hold his acknowledgment ceremony on the January 27 episode of Monday Night Raw. Reigns not only defeated Solo Sikoa in the debut episode but also regained the Ula fala.
However, Reigns is a tribal chief without his loyal soldiers, and the OTC in his quest to regain the glory might go on a recruitment tour, his first stop might be to recruit Zayn and help him during his match against Drew. This would not only be a stern warning to McIntyre who has been targeting OG Bloodline members but also a message to Zayn that his loyalty shall be rewarded.

3. Drew McIntyre prevails again
The two stars have locked horns in the squared ring for a total of eleven times and McIntyre came out on top ten times, with the one being a no contest. This means that the Scottish Pyscopath is undefeated against Zayn.
History might repeat itself and Drew McIntyre could pick up the win against Sami tonight, Drew has showcased pure dominance and despite two recent losses he has been very competitive in those matches. Both the losses didn’t come due to dominance but due to a roll-up.

2. Sami Zayn shatters the undefeated streak
As mentioned earlier, McIntyre has recently lost two matches against Jey Uso and Seth Rollins both via roll up and Sami might try and succeed in repeating the same gameplan against the Scottish Pysocpath.
Zayn would also want to register this first singles victory against McIntyre and prove himself. Sami has enough experience as he has battled McIntyre multiple times to come up with a good game plan to win the showdown and break the undefeated streak.
1. Seth Rollins interferes
‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins last week defeated McIntyre via a roll-up in a rematch from WrestleMania 40. However, McIntyre launched an assault after the match which as mentioned earlier led to Zayn’s involvement.
In the closing moments of the show last week, Zayn accidentally took out Rollins with the Helluva kick. While Rollins considered Zayn a friend, but the attack last week and his issues with Sami repeatedly helping Roman Reigns might make him rethink his friendship.
Rollins also has his fair share of issues with McIntyre and he might decide to aid Zayn in getting his first win against the Scottish Pyscopath tonight. The Visionary might shock everyone and turn heel attacking both Zayn and McIntyre.
