Bianca Belair will navigate the Women’s Tag Team Division without Jade Cargill
Bianca Belair’s WWE tag team partner, Jade Cargill was severely injured due to an attack on the 11/22 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The two are the current Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Cargill was left bloodied and unconscious on the hood of a car with a broken windshield. Bianca Belair was competing in the Women’s US Title tournament when her partner was attacked. The promotion has not yet revealed who was behind the attack on Cargill.
As per reports, Jade is dealing with a neck injury, with estimates suggesting she may be out for anywhere from three months to a year. Let us now take a look at five directions Belair can take in the absence of the tag partner.
5. Find a new tag partner
The most straightforward solution for Belair would be to find a new partner to fill the void left by Jade Cargill’s injury, allowing her to maintain her reign as tag team champion.
There are a few options for Belair in the women’s division, the one that stands out is Naomi. She has held the tag title in the past with her partner Shasha Banks.
Naomi has the experience and the chemistry with Belair to replace Cargill as her tag partner. There is a president for such incidents as Piper Niven replaced Sonya Deville when she tore her ACL last year.
Niven and Chelsea Green held the tag titles for 154 days before dropping them to Katana Chance and Kayden Carter last December.
4. Relinquish the titles
Belair is currently scheduled for a clash at the upcoming PLE in a five vs five WarGames match. She has been featured on almost every PLE in 2024 and regular programming.
Either Belair could relinquish the tag title of the promotion should strip her of the title. Relinquishing her title and taking a short break might be a good option for the EST.
Given WWE’s demanding schedule, Cargill’s injury presents an opportunity for her to take a well-deserved break and recharge. A hiatus could ultimately lead to a more impactful return, allowing her to come back refreshed and rejuvenated, much to the excitement of fans.

3. Take matters into her own hands
On the 11/25 episode of Monday Night Raw, Noami, Iyo Sky, Belair, and Rhea Ripley discussed their strategy for the upcoming WarGames clash. They also discussed the now vacant seat of the fifth member of their faction.
Belair seemed fixated on Cargill’s attack while Noami told her to focus on the upcoming WarGames advantage match against Nia Jax.
It seems like Bianca wants to find out who attacked her tag partner. An investigation will also be a unique storyline to tell for the promotion and it would also give Belair clarity on Jade’s injury.
2. Shift her attention towards the WWE Women’s Championship
One of the easiest paths forward for Belair is to chase the Women’s Champion Nia Jax. Belair recently defeated the champion in the WarGames advantage match.
The two stars also have a history of matches and feuds, they will once again lock horns in the upcoming PLE in the women’s WarGames match.
With her sights set on WrestleMania 41, Bianca could embark on a championship pursuit, leveraging her proven track record as a two-time titleholder to catapult herself into the spotlight on the grandest stage of them all.
1. Jump back in the Women’s US Title tournament
On the 11/22 Friday Night SmackDown, Belair locked horns with Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport in the second match of the Women’s US title.
Cargill was laid out unconscious on the hood during the tournament match. Bianca left the match midway and rushed to check up on her tag partner. Chelsea Green picked up the win in Belair’s absence.
The tag champion should now demand another spot in the tournament, the new challenge of winning the inaugural US title would be a nice change for Bianca. If she manages to win the inaugural title it would further solidify her legacy and create new storylines and exciting matchups.
