The Women’s Intercontinental title will be contested tonight on Raw!
The August 18 episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It will be the final show from the main roster before WWE travels to Europe ahead of Clash in Paris.
The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the show. ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, along with the Vision (Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed & Paul Heyman) and CM Punk are set for an appearance on the show.
Three singles matches, along with a Women’s Intercontinental title match, have been set for the show. Additionally, Women’s World Champion Naomi is set to address the WWE Universe. Let us now take a look at the top four spoilers for tonight’s show.
4. Penta wins

Penta is set to lock horns with Xavier Woods in a singles match as Woods is looking to settle a costly dispute with Penta. The New Day star claims Penta owes him $18,000 for ruining what he calls his ‘favorite hat.’
However, Woods will likely fall prey to Penta’s flashy moves and blazing fast offense. The luchador will likely defeat Woods, furthering the feud.

3. Becky Lynch retains

Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is set to defend the title again against Dupri’s tag partner, Natalya, who originally challenged her for a match on the August 4 episode. Lynch attacked Natalya after defeating Dupri last week and now will defend the title for a second time in a row.
Lynch is likely going to retain the title as the promotion would use this match to set up an eventual clash with Nikki Bella at Clash in Paris. Lynch would repeat attacking and mocking Natalya like she did with Dupri last week, which would likely bring out Bella, giving us a sneak peek.
2. Naomi vacates title
Women’s World Champion Naomi was set to defend the title against Iyo Sky last week. However, the match was cancelled as the Champion was not cleared for in-ring action. Naomi will make an appearance on tonight’s Raw to address the WWE Universe.
There’s a lot of certainty surrounding her future, with rumors of injury, pregnancy, or all of being part of a storyline. If the rumors are true and Naomi is pregnant, she will likely step away from WWE programming for a long time. Fans would now have to wait for tonight’s show to find out.
