The Champion might face severe retribution tonight.
With Saturday Night’s Main Event on the horizon, this Friday’s SmackDown, the go-home show, is set to deliver one final surge of excitement before the historic night unfolds.
The December 12, 2025, edition will air live from the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Multiple big names, including Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Sami Zayn, Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Ilja Dragunov, among others.
Three massive matches have been announced for the show, including a mixed tag, a U.S. Title bout, and a high-octane singles showdown. Let’s take a look at the top four potential spoilers for this week’s WWE SmackDown.
4. Michin pins Jade Cargill

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill has been on a rampage, defeating anyone who dares to challenge her. During last week’s show, she attempted to intimidate B-Fab following her victory over Alba Fyre.
However, Michin intervened, leading to a heated argument with Cargill, which prompted the champion to go to GM Nick Aldis to request a match. Cargill’s ego has been on cloud nine since winning the title and has been making several enemies backstage.
Michin, with the help of B-Fab, might be able to pin Cargill to give her a reality check and also to further the storyline as WWE refuses to address the hollow roster of SmackDown.

3. Uncle Howdy targets Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa during last week’s show cut a scathing promo calling out Wyatt Sicks and Uncle Howdy. Sikoa mentioned the late Bray Wyatt’s name, something Howdy (Bo Dallas) will likely not be a fan of. The two groups have been brawling for the past two weeks, and things might get interesting tonight.
WWE waited a long time to advance the storyline, and Solo mentioning Wyatt could now be enough to provoke an attack from Howdy.
2. Drew McIntyre mounts another offensive

In the lead-up to Survivor Series: WarGames, Drew McIntyre made it clear that he is not done with Cody Rhodes. The Champion also shared the same feeling as last week; he, too, attacked McIntyre in the opening moments of the show.
Reports have confirmed another planned match between the two, and fans could witness another ruthless attack by McIntyre tonight as he looks to mount another offensive to try and capture the Undisputed title.
1. Ilja Dragunov retains
Tommaso Ciampa finally got his opportunity after attacking Carmelo Hayes last week, which unintentionally helped Ilja Dragunov retain the title. Dragunov personally requested the match and will now defend the United States Championship against Ciampa.
It’s unlikely that Ciampa will be able to defeat Ilja for the title, as the momentum of the weekly Open Challenge has become a staple of the hollow SmackDown brand.
Although it’s unclear what the end goal is with Ciampa and Ilja’s feud, Ilja will likely retain the title against Ciampa tonight.
