El Grande Americano will be in action tonight on Raw in Chad Gable’s hometown!
Following the conclusion of the Europe tour with the 03/31 episode of Monday Night Raw, the Stamford-based promotion is now set to deliver the April 07 episode of the Red brand, which is set to emanate live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the show, including a Women’s IC title match, a World Tag title match, along with multiple appearances, and two singles matches. El Grande Americano will also be in action, replacing Chad Gable in his hometown as the latter was unable to compete.
Ahead of the stacked show of WWE Raw from Minneapolis, here are the top five surprises that might be in store for this week’s episode.
4. Penta vs Dominik Mysterio ends in DQ
On last week’s show, the Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Dominik Mysterio) emerged victorious against the team of IC Champion Bron Breakker and Penta. Dirty Dom is now set to battle Penta in a singles match. With reports of an IC title clash for WrestleMania involving them and the presence of Judgment Day members, this match will likely end in DQ, furthering the feud ahead of the grandest stage.

3. El Grande Americano suffers defeat
El Grande Americano will be in action tonight as he is replacing Chad Gable, who was unable to compete in his hometown. However, Americano’s opponent has not yet been revealed, and with General Manager Adam Pearce irked by Gable’s tactics, coupled with the belief that he is in fact El Grande Americano, Pearce might choose a tough opponent who would hand Americano his first loss in the squared ring.

2. Seth Rollins offers a helping hand
On last week’s SmackDown, CM Punk revealed that the favor he wanted from Paul Heyman was to be in his corner at WrestleMania 41, while Reigns thought Heyman would turn down the offer, Heyman refused to do so. Seth Rollins is now set for an appearance, so are Heyman and Punk. While Rollins’ hatred for Roman Reigns is pretty evident, it pales in comparison to his disdain for CM Punk.
Rollins will likely cut a promo and offer a helping hand to Reigns to finish Punk once and for all, as he has always wanted.
1. Jey Uso retaliates
After their intense confrontation last week, where Gunther relentlessly battered Jimmy Uso and zip-tied Jey Uso to the ropes, who helplessly watched his brother suffer in front of him, the two stars are now set to be under one roof. Witnessing his brother helplessly covered in his own blood is not something anyone would forget, and Jey will likely retaliate brutally on tonight’s show, building the feud even further ahead of Mania.
How will Jey Uso react following last week’s beatdown of Jimmy Uso by Gunther? Who do you think will be the opponent of El Grande Americano? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
