Three top superstars battle for the third spot in the Elimination Chamber match.

Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to emanate live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The show promises to be an exciting watch as the build towards Elimination Chamber continues.

The men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifiers are set to continue tonight in the build-up to the PLE. On the men’s side, Cody Rhodes, Jacob Fatu, and Sami Zayn will battle for the third spot, while Alexa Bliss, Giulia, and Zelina will lock horns in the women’s Qualifying match in Texas.

Ahead of tonight’s show, let us take a look at the three potential finishes for the men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying match on WWE SmackDown.

3. Cody Rhodes gets one step closer to his rematch

One of the most straightforward finishes for the match will undoubtedly be the former Champion and the biggest name in the match, Cody Rhodes, registering a win to secure a spot in the Chamber match, and ultimately win it to secure a rematch against the Champion who took the Undisputed title in their last meeting in a three stages of hell match.

2. Sami Zayn pulls off an upset win

Sami Zayn has been unable to defeat Drew McIntyre, and this record stood in their previous meeting with the title on the line at the Royal Rumble in Riyadh last month. Zayn can capitalize on the bad blood between Rhodes and Fatu, implementing a game plan that favors him amid all the chaos.

Zayn isn’t only looking to pin McIntyre for the first time, but also capture the WWE World title for the first time, and a win tonight would move him close to that goal.

1. Drew McIntyre interferes

Last week, Drew McIntyre attempted to address the audience twice but was interrupted by attacks from Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu, respectively. Despite the setbacks, he managed to deliver a promo, responding to mentions from CM Punk and Roman Reigns during their segment on last week’s Raw.

After responding to Reigns and Punk, McIntyre might decide to retaliate and attack Fatu and Rhodes tonight. With reports of a triple-threat, this attack would further build towards their eventual clash. This interference might also help Sami pull out an underdog win in the qualifying match.
