WWE Evolution is set to present its second edition.
The female talent of WWE will have a memorable night on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It will be the sight of WWE Evolution 2, the all-women’s PLE making its return after eight years since the first time it took place.
It is expected to feature the superstars of the past and present, and can be a remarkable show for the ages. Witnessing events of this year, here are the top seven matches that can take place at the event.
7. Jacy Jayne vs Jordynne Grace
The NXT Women’s Championship Eliminator is going on in full swing in the developmental territory. The winner will challenge Jacy Jayne at WWE Evolution for her title.
Among the field left, WWE’s newest prospect, Jordynne Grace, is looking to be the favorite to emerge victorious and have her first major title match in WWE.
6. Becky Lynch vs Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria
Becky Lynch has been embroiled in a heated feud with both Lyra Valkyria and Bayley ever since her return to WWE at WrestleMania 41.
Furthermore, there have been slight tensions witnessed between former partners Valkyria and Bayley. This could lead to an explosive triple-threat match at WWE Evolution for Lynch’s coveted WWE Intercontinental title.
5. Charlotte Flair vs Alexa Bliss
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss have been crossing paths ever since Bliss made her return on SmackDown following the end of WrestleMania season. Bliss has repeatedly tried to help Flair, but she turned it down. This could culminate in a match at WWE Evolution to build the next chapter of this storyline.
4. Jade Cargill vs Naomi
As per a previous report by PW Insider, Jade Cargill vs Naomi is planned for WWE Evolution 2. A rematch from WrestleMania 41 could this time be a stipulation match to put an end to their heated tensions, which have been prevailing since Naomi took out Cargill in a mysterious backstage attack in November 2024.
3. Asuka vs IYO Sky
Asuka made her thunderous return to WWE and has already made her way to the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
There can be a chance that she loses in the finals, but still bounces back and earns a title match against her former Damage CTRL cohort, IYO Sky. With seeds already planted on RAW this week, an explosive title match between two of the best Japanese competitors is looking to be on the horizon.
2. Tiffany Stratton vs Trish Stratus
Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus picked up a huge tag team victory at the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. However, this time at WWE Evolution, Stratton could find herself standing face-to-face against the WWE Hall of Famer in a huge WWE Women’s title match, pitting the past against the present.
1. The Bella Twins challenge for the Tag Team Titles
Nikki Bella made her return to WWE RAW to begin a feud with Liv Morgan this month. However, Morgan went down with an injury, and the plans are reportedly scrapped.
This could lead to her fellow WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez recruiting Roxanne Perez, who was seen helping her on RAW this week. They could pose a challenge to Nikki, who herself would bring back her sister, Brie, to reunite the Bella Twins and challenge them for the tag team titles at WWE Evolution.
