After the conclusion of Clash in Italy, WWE is on the move towards its next Premium Live Event, Night of Champions, which is expected to be a stellar hit. The captivating event will take place on June 27 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Heading into the company, it was announced that Roman Reigns will return to RAW next week, which could mean that WWE has plans for him at the PLE. Should that happen, here are five opponents for his World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions 2026:
5. Sami Zayn

One of the top favorite WWE superstars in Saudi Arabia is Sami Zayn. He is currently lost in the shuffle after his feud with Trick Williams ended. With his popularity in the Middle East, WWE can capitalize on it and book him for a World Championship match against Roman Reigns at Night of Champions.
4. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has been absent from WWE television since losing to Jacob Fatu in an unsacntioned match at WrestleMania 42.
The Scottish Warrior might need a huge spot to make an impact upon his return, and a colossal World title match against Roman Reigns at Night of Champions 2026 might be the booking WWE could make for their upcoming Premium Live Event.
3. CM Punk

Roman Reigns became the World Heavyweight Champion by defeating CM Punk at WrestleMania 42. The RAW after the show marked Punk’s last televised appearance.
With Night of Champions just weeks away, The Best in the World could make his shocking return and invoke a rematch against The OTC, setting the stage for a marquee match in Saudi Arabia.
2. Solo Sikoa

Following his victory over Jacob Fatu in the Tribal Combat at WWE Backlash, Roman Reigns exchanged a glance with Solo Sikoa, who was standing in the crowd.
With Sikoa losing out on his chance to advance in the King of the Ring tournament last week on SmackDown, he could turn his attention back to The OTC and challenge them for the World title at Night of Champions.

LA Knight has been openly firing shots against Roman Reigns and The Usos on RAW recently. With Reigns returning to the red brand next week, there could be a possibility that an altercation between him and LA Knight, leading to a World title match being made official for Night of Champions Premium Live Event.
