WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event could have some major surprises for this edition.
The July 2026 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will be a major show. It is scheduled to be held in the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, in New York City, New York. The vintage event will feature four top matches and appearances from megastars like Roman Reigns and Jalen Brunson.
With the show set to take this place this weekend, here are five potential surprises/spoilers for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event:
5. Danhausen gets allies

Danhausen’s recent encounters with The Judgment Day will see him clash with JD McDonagh in a No Disqualification match.
It can be expected that McDonagh’s allies are likely to interfere with no rules imposed; therefore, Danhausen could also get aid from Judgment Day’s current rivals, Iyo Sky and Sol Ruca, at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

4. New Tag Team Champions

A major title match will see Lainey Reed and Fallon Henley challenge Paige and Brie Bella for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Under Jacy Jayne’s leadership, the two rising challengers have made a significant impact, and this could see them become the new champions with possible interference from Jayne to ensure their victory.
3. Lyra Valkyria takes Bayley out of action

Lyra Valkyria turned on her former friend, Bayley, and the duo is now set to collide in a singles showdown at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The new and ruthless Valkyria might lose the match due to overconfidence against Bayley. However, this could push her to the edge to viciously attack The Role Model and put her on the sidelines indefinitely.
2. Cody Rhodes walks out on CM Punk

The SummerSlam opponents, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, will team up to battle Sami Zayn and Gunther in a tag team match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
While it has not been evident, there are definitely tensions between the duo. This could lead to a shocking move, with Rhodes possibly walking out on Punk mid-match, making their storyline more captivating on the road to SummerSlam.
1. Jalen Brunson joins Roman Reigns for SummerSlam

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns has invited Jalen Brunson to appear at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. He has accepted the OTC’s offer and will make a live appearance.
This could potentially see Brunson making a shocking move to join Reigns at SummerSlam as he would defend his World Heavyweight title against his historic rival, Seth Rollins.
