Three titles will be on the line tonight on SmackDown!
The June 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to serve as the go-home show for the upcoming Night of Champions 2025. The show will air live from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Stars will meet for the final time before their clash at the PLE.
Multiple top stars, including Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Nia Jax, Randy Orton, and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, are being advertised for the show. Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will put the title on the line against Nia Jax in a last woman standing match.
While The Street Profits are set to defend the WWE Tag Team titles against The Wyatt Sicks. In the third announced title clash on the show, Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega will put the title on the line against Giulia. Ahead of tonight’s show of WWE SmackDown, here are the top three potential spoilers that might be in store for fans.
3. JC Mateo ambushes Jacob Fatu
United States Champion Jacob Fatu is set to defend the title against Solo Sikoa at the upcoming PLE. Sikoa tried to mend ways with Fatu on last week’s show. However, the segment ended when Sikoa tried to attack Fatu with the help of JC Mateo. However, despite initial success, they were left humiliated as Fatu stood tall after Jimmy Uso’s help.
Mateo has had his issues with Fatu, and following the fallout between Fatu and Sikoa, there’s nobody to stop him. Mateo will likely target Fatu tonight, sending a message while trying to inflict damage to help Sikoa in the title match.

2. Giulia wins
Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega will put the title on the line against Giulia. The former NXT Champion, Giulia, has been on a tear since her main roster debut last month. Although Vega, despite her size, has proven incredibly tough to pin. Meanwhile, Giulia hasn’t hesitated to use underhanded tactics to secure a win, and such might be the case tonight as we likely will witness a new Women’s US Champion.
1. CM Punk retaliates
John Cena on last week’s show got the better of the exchange between him and his Night of Champions opponent, CM Punk. Cena put Punk through a table and delivered a scathing promo, reminiscent of Punk’s own iconic pipebomb promo.
Punk will likely not take kindly to the humiliation and the fiery accusation by Cena, who is set for an appearance on the show. Punk will likely interfere during the segment, attacking the Champion to deliver the final promo ahead of their clash.
