MITB PLE is going international this time around

We’ve got our predictions ready for WWE’s Money in the Bank 2024, which takes place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada this weekend.

It seems like the MITB event this year will not be an exception to the norm that Toronto supporters bring the heat to wrestling bouts. There will be two high-stakes ladder matches and a world championship match with significant ramifications, so there will be something for the spectators to cheer about.

There are currently five planned matches for the WWE Money in the Bank 2024 card. In addition to the two ladder matches already stated, there will be a World Heavyweight Championship contest, an Intercontinental Title match, and a huge six-man tag team bout. Here are Khel Now’s predictions for the upcoming MITB 2024 PLE.

WWE Money in the Bank 2024 match card

  • Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match- Iyo Sky vs Chelsea Green vs Lyra Valkyria vs Tiffany Stratton vs Naomi vs Zoey Stark
  • Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match- Jey Uso vs Carmelo Hayes vs Andrade vs Chad Gable vs LA Knight vs Drew McIntyre
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match- Damian Priest (C) vs Seth “Freakin” Rollins
  • Intercontinental Championship Match- Sami Zayn (C) vs Bron Breakker
  • Six-Man Tag Team Match- Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton & Kevin Owens vs The Bloodline

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match- Iyo Sky vs Chelsea Green vs Lyra Valkyria vs Tiffany Stratton vs Naomi vs Zoey Stark

We will go with the clear favourite here in Tiffany Stratton, but Chelsea Green with the MITB briefcase would be really interesting. Though it may seem like a cliched choice, there is no denying that Stratton will have a significant impact on the starting lineup.

Does “Tiffy Time” win out? We think Nia Jax, Stratton’s new best friend, will help her. Until something really goes wrong between the two, I can see Jax protecting Stratton during her time with the briefcase.

Predicted Winner: Tiffany Stratton

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match- Jey Uso vs Carmelo Hayes vs Andrade vs Chad Gable vs LA Knight vs Drew McIntyre

To be honest, there should only be one interference during this match, but we still expect at least one. WWE may follow in the footsteps of CM Punk and cost McIntyre the briefcase, or they could have the Wyatt Sicks stop Chad Gable from winning the title of “Master in the Bank.”

In the end, we believe WWE will choose Logan Paul, the US Champion, to sabotage the LA Knights‘ moment. This would pave the way for the two to go off for the U.S. title at SummerSlam. Since Jey Uso is the clear favourite to win, I’m going to go with him to fetch the briefcase.

Predicted Winner: Jey Uso

Intercontinental Championship Match- Sami Zayn (C) vs Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker doesn’t need to win this match. They can simply have Sami Zayn keep his gold medal with a fluke pin and Bron crush him after the match. That is what I am leaning towards. Breakker can probably win the IC gold, and I don’t think it’s too soon for him.

The guy will be a multiple-time world champion, and despite being an unexpected heel, he already has the audience on his side. We believe it is vital to mention here that Bron and Sheamus have some unfinished business after the son of a dog-faced gremlin Speared “The Celtic Warrior” a few weeks ago. Perhaps a triple threat bout at SummerSlam?

Predicted Winner: Sami Zayn

Six-Man Tag Team Match- Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton & Kevin Owens vs The Bloodline

The Bloodline sent shockwaves through the wrestling industry when “The Wiseman” Paul Heyman was kicked out for refusing to acknowledge Solo SIkoa as his Tribal Chief. With Roman Reigns out of the picture, The Bloodline is more deadly than ever.

Rhodes, Orton, and Owens will not make it easy for whoever The Bloodline chooses to compete in the event. Jacob Fatu will patrol the ringside area in his “Enforcer” role, leaving the in-ring action to Solo, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. Given that the move for SummerSlam appears to be Rhodes vs. Solo for the Undisputed WWE Championship, The Bloodline should win this match.

Predicted Winner: The Bloodline

World Heavyweight Championship Match- Damian Priest (C) vs Seth “Freakin” Rollins

A lot is riding on this one since Priest has committed to depart The Judgment Day if he does not defeat Rollins. On the other hand, if “The Visionary” fails to get gold, he will be unable to compete for the championship as long as Priest holds the title.

While tensions within The Judgment Day are increasing, they have not yet reached a point where Damian feels compelled to quit. We believe WWE waits until at least SummerSlam on that one. We see Priest retaining the World Heavyweight Championship at MITB 204.

Predicted Winner: Damian Priest
