Tonight’s episode features some exciting matchups
As the promotion prepares for the second PLE of 2025, the storylines and feuds are taking shape and will culminate at the WrestleMania 41 PLE in April. Tonight’s show of Monday Night Raw will follow in the footsteps and will deliver two final qualifying matches for the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber match.
Apart from the two qualifying matches the promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the show. The 02/17 episode of Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
Ahead of this week’s show in Charlotte let us take a look at the four predictions for the 02/17 episode of the Red brand.
4. Gunther ambushes Jey Uso again
2025 men’s Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso last week picked World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for WrestleMania 41 PLE. However, Gunther wasn’t excited about the chance to battle Jey as he believed Jey is a mid-card talent and will stain his legacy.
The Champion last week ambushed Jey during the opening moments in order to scare him away but it only made things clear for Jey. Gunther has now vowed to make Jey’s life ‘hell’ until WrestleMania and he will likely repeat last week’s actions and will attack Jey following on his promise.

3. Ivy Nile wins
Following last week’s multiple confrontations, Ivy Nile is getting a chance to prove her worth and battle the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria. However, she will first have to go through Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai.
While Kai is looking to gain momentum which has been hindered multiple times due to injury. The promotion teasing a feud between Nile and Valkyria for weeks points towards Nile winning the match to challenge the IC Champion.

2. Penta’s undefeated streak shatters
Since his arrival in the WWE, Penta has been on a tear defeating everyone that the promotion has put in his path. However, he is now locked in a feud with Ludwig Kaiser and Pete Dunne, both of whom want to take down the luchador.
While Kaiser initially tried to join forces with Dunne in order to take down the luchador, Dunne made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with Kaiser and told him to stay clear of his path. However, Kaiser will likely interfere in the match which might lead to Dunne picking up the win and shattering Penta’s undefeated streak in the promotion.
1. Sami Zayn accepts
On last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Sami Zayn released a video via his X handle which was played during the show where he detailed the seriousness of the injury. Zayn revealed that he wasn’t sure when he would be medically cleared, but whenever that happened, he would confront Kevin.
Later in the show, the promotion played a reply from Kevin Owens which he posted on X where he mocked Zayn and called him out for not helping him in the ladder match at the Royal Rumble PLE. Owens then issued a challenge to Zayn for the 2025 Elimination Chamber in Toronto, stating that he didn’t care if Zayn was cleared or not.
Zayn is now set for an appearance on tonight’s show where he will most likely accept the challenge as he too wants to confront KO and battling him next month would give him enough time to recover from his injuries.
What will Sami Zayn say in his return on tonight’s show? Can Penta fend off Ludwig Kaiser and beat Pete Dunne? Share your thoughts and predictions in the comments section.
