Tonight’s episode of SmackDown features an exciting six-man tag match

The Stamford-based promotion is descending upon the city that never sleeps to deliver the 02/21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The show will emanate live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisana.

Multiple top stars are set for an appearance on the show including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Jimmy Uso. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is also set to make his return tonight in New Orleans.

Here are our top four predictions for tonight’s show in the Smoothie King Center as the Stamford-based promotion prepares for the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE.

4. DIY retains

As announced, WWE Tag Team Champions Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano (DIY) will defend their titles against Kit Wilson and Elton Prince (Pretty Deadly) on tonight’s show. While Wilson and Prince have recently defeated DIY in a non-title clash, a lack of experience and the tag champs using dirty tactics will likely help DIY retain the titles.

3. Tiffany Stratton confronts Charlotte Flair

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton last week suffered a brutal beatdown at the hands of Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. While she was addressing her wounds 2025 women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair appeared and announced Tiffany as her pick for WrestleMania 41. Stratton will likely confront Flair cutting a promo ahead of their clash at the grandest stage.

2. The Rock targets Cody Rhodes

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is all set to make his electrifying return on tonight’s episode of SmackDown. While in his last appearance, he buried the beef with the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and acknowledged Rhodes’ contribution as the champion.

However, ahead of his return Johnson warned via social media that he would ‘f*ck up a certain someone’s life’. The tease likely means he will reignite the feud with Rhodes tonight and the friendly behaviour last month was just to play mind games.

1. Solo Sikoa spikes Jacob Fatu

Following last week’s fiasco on SmackDown where Solo Sikoa accidentally took out Tama Tonga while brawling with Cody Rhodes, a match has been set for tonight where Cody will team up with Damian Priest and Braun Strowman to battle the team of Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga in a triple threat match.

The growing rift between Sikoa and Fatu was evident last week and the spike in the closing moments has put more doubt in Fatu’s mind which would hinder their coordination and the last week’s mishap might be repeated. There is a chance that Sikoa accidentally lands the Samoan spike on Fatu, leading to their fallout and an eventual clash at the grandest stage.
