The Viper has been one of the top stars in the WWE since the early 2000s
Since making his main roster debut in 2002, ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton has been one of the top stars ever since, and while his counterparts either retired or transitioned into other professions, Orton has still been competing and being featured in regular television.
‘The Apex Predator’ has been infamous for his ruthlessness and is considered one of the greatest superstars form his generation especially when it comes to being a heel. While Randy Orton has recently turned face and is receiving a lot of love from fans, longtime followers still remember the days when he showcased pure ruthlessness, sending chills down fans’ spines.
Orton was sidelined due to injury after he was attacked by his former friend Kevin Owens who landed the infamous package piledriver in November 2024. After months of absence, Orton made his return at the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE where he returned the favor and took out Owens with the RKO.
Orton also was looking for the punt kick but Owens was saved by security and officials. However, this gave a glimpse of what’s coming and also hinted at the return of the infamous and ruthless Randy Orton that we have seen growing up.
Orton is now set to battle Kevin Owens at the 41st edition of WrestleMania 41 PLE which will emanate from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20. However, Owens pulled out of the match due to a serious neck injury but Orton refused to stay home and issued an open challenge on April 20 of the show.
