WWE has produced some tremendous PLEs this year.
WWE has been going strong with the presentation of its Premium Live Events (PLEs) this year, which have been major successes.
Moreover, the Stamford-based promotion has produced five PLEs so far in its primary market, the United States, and in other countries as well, including its first PLE in Italy, the first Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, and more. So here is Khel Now’s ranking of WWE Premium Live Events in 2026:
5. Backlash: Tampa
WWE Backlash was the fourth Premium Live Event of 2026, featuring several significant matches and headlined by Roman Reigns squaring off against Jacob Fatu. Moreover, it featured John Cena‘s appearance to announce ‘The John Cena Classic.’ With its match card and moments, it ranks sixth in our rankings.

4. Elimination Chamber

The Elimination Chamber event had some spectacular matches and shocking turns on the road to WrestleMania. From AJ Lee winning a WWE title after more than a decade, to Seth Rollins‘ shocking return and the gruesome chamber matches themselves, we ranked the PLE in the fourth spot.
3. WrestleMania 42

WrestleMania 42 was received differently by fans on both nights. First of all, it was hosted by the GOAT, John Cena. On the other hand, the hardcore audience had more praise for Night 2, including major bouts like Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley and Brock Lesnar’s crushing defeat to Oba Femi.
Moreover, the main event match between CM Punk and Roman Reigns was itself a blockbuster. However, Night 1 still capped great matches like Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, Seth Rollins vs Gunther, and other stellar matches, and even the shocking returns of Paige and Bron Breakker. Overall, The Show of Shows was a stellar hit and ranked third on our list.
2. Clash in Italy
WWE Clash in Italy marked the company’s PLE debut in the country and could be considered one of the best spectacles they’ve produced so far.
The match card itself was a heavily star-studded one that saw Brock Lesnar return to action after teasing retirement, and Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu tearing down the house in Tribal Combat, therefore occupying the second spot in our rankings.
1. Royal Rumble
The 2026 Royal Rumble event marked history as it was the first edition to take place outside the United States in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The show featured Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan winning their respective Rumbles, captivating Royal Rumble bouts, surprise returns, shocking debuts, and other exciting matches, ranking first on our list.
