WWE Raw to go through MAJOR temporary change for next two weeks

Monday Night Raw is one-half of the weekly flagship sports entertainment show of WWE
WWE is one of the biggest professional wrestling promotions, which has a huge fan base all across the world. With the ever-growing fanbase, WWE signed a multi-year deal with the broadcasters to telecast their shows. Currently, the Raw and NXT shows are telecasted on the USA network in the United States, whereas the SmackDown is telecasted on Fox.
Although the flagship shows are said to have their new home next year, WWE has officially announced that WWE Raw and WWE NXT will temporarily move from USA Network to another major network for the next two weeks.
WWE Raw moves to SyFy
On the latest edition of Monday Night Raw, the voice of WWE, Michael Cole announced that the next two week’s episode will be aired live from SyFy instead of the USA network in the United States. With that, the July 29, 2024 & August 05, 2024 episodes of WWE Raw will be telecasted on Syfy.
Additionally, WWE NXT episodes on Tuesday Nights could also have similar changes for the next two weeks, as they could likely be moved to SyFy instead of USA Network. With that, the July 30, 2024 & August 06, 2024 episodes of WWE NXT will be telecasted on Syfy.
It is reported that the changes are due to the Paris Olympics 2024, which is scheduled to kick by this week. The Olympic games will be telecasted on NBC, which is the parent company of the USA Network, (official US broadcast partner). However, these changes don’t affect the blue brand, as SmackDown will be telecasted live from the Fox Network, as usual.
The changes came at a pivotal time for WWE, as both the week shows are highly anticipated with SummerSlam PLE on August 03, 2024, which can be streamed on Peacock, which is the official partner for WWE’s Premium Live Events.
WWE Raw will be back in the USA Network from the August 12, 2024 edition and NXT will be back in the USA from the August 13, 2024 episode. These changes are only announced for the United States broadcasting and the rest of the world can check with the local providers.
This is not the first time WWE moved the Raw and NXT to SyFy. WWE in February 2022 moved Raw and NXT temporarily to SyFy from USA Network for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
