Possible reason behind Paul Heyman's absence in recent weeks following WWE Clash in Paris

The Oracle has been absent from WWE programming since the Clash in Paris PLE!
The Vision faction, which consists of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and now Becky Lynch, has continued its dominance on Monday Night Raw. However, the absence of âThe Oracleâ Paul Heyman is pretty evident.
Heyman has been absent from WWE programming since the Clash in Paris PLE, which took place last August. Roman Reigns defeated Bronson Reed in the first match of the show and then demanded the âShoe-La-Falaâ from Heyman.
After Heyman handed over the âShoe-La-Falaâ, Reigns locked in a guillotine choke, putting his former Wiseman to sleep, settling the score for the WrestleMania 41 betrayal. While Breakker and Reed immediately retaliated, viciously attacking Reigns, the damage to Heyman was already done.
Paul Heyman suffered busted blood vessels in his eye due to the choke

Following the attack, Paul Heyman made his first appearance, joining World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins on ESPNâs First Take.
Heyman responded to the rumors about his injury and provided an update, stating that while WWE claimed he had a scratched larynx, in reality, the choke was so intense that it caused multiple blood vessels to burst in his eye.
âThey went public saying that I had a scratched larynx or something like that, but hereâs the thing, Roman Reigns choked me out so hard â if you take a look right here, I busted all these blood vessels in my eye, take a look at my eye. I donât know if itâs permanent damage or not.
And thatâs⌠you can think anything you want about what WWE is. Itâs like, thereâs no real coffee in the coffee cup here, but itâs there for optics. And my optics are affected.â
The Oracle believes AJ Lee is on Becky Lynchâs level
During the appearance, Heyman was also asked if he would be in Seth Rollins and Becky Lynchâs corner for the mixed tag team match against CM Punk and AJ Lee at Wrestlepalooza.
âHell of a cliffhanger, Iâm always comfortable ringside with Seth freaking Rollins. Maybe the strategy calls for me to be elsewhere at that moment. Maybe the strategy calls me to be ringside at the moment. I actually think this is a complete misuse of CM Punkâs family, to be very honest with you.â Heyman responded.
Heyman then added that AJ Lee is not in the league of the greatest womenâs wrestlers of all time, but Becky Lynch is. He also noted how Lynch was not just the first woman to main event WrestleMania, but also defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.
âI donât think AJ Lee is in the league of the greatest womanâs wrestler of all time, Becky Lynch, the first woman to ever main event WrestleMania and win, by the way.
She won the match, didnât just main event it, she won the match against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. I think it should simply be Seth Rollins versus CM Punk and the loser keeps AJ.â
