Top five reasons why Becky Lynch is returning soon to WWE

“The Man” could make her WWE return
Becky Lynch has been the flagbearer of the women’s revolution in WWE. However, her contract with the company ran out at the end of May, earlier this year. The grand slam champion chose not to renew a deal with her employers at the time.
With the main event picture on Monday Night RAW unclear after Rhea Ripley’s injury-forced departure, the company could do with a proven performer in the ilk of Lynch. Join us now as we look at five reasons why the Irish performer could be returning soon.
5. A WarGames return may happen again.
When Becky Lynch went on a parental sabbatical in 2020, it was the 2022 Survivor Series WarGame PLE when she finally marked her return to WWE. With the Stamford-based promotion’s “Big Four’ event just around the corner, it won’t be a surprise to see the former WWE women’s champion spark a surprise comeback on a special night. The wrestling juggernaut is known to reserve a top star for either the male or female WarGames match, and they would look to continue that trend.
4. Lack of a main event player on RAW
The notorious trio of Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio recently unceremoniously removed Rhea Ripley from the women’s main event scene. Although WWE has opted to go ahead with Iyo Sky as the next challenger for Morgan’s title, there is an apparent lack of main-event players who could contend with the current champion. That’s where Lynch’s return to TV could again strengthen the red brand’s female division.
3. She would have been rejuvenated after the self-induced break
It has been more than five months since ‘The Man’ last appeared on WWE programming in a steel cage match against Liv Morgan. Twenty weeks is a considerably long amount of time, particularly if you are one of the most decorated women performers for a promotion.
It is quite evident that Lynch has gotten many more years in her locker when it comes to competing in the squared circle, down the line. The go-getter she is, the Irish performer would be itching to get back between the ropes.
Given her and WWE’s good terms over the years, it seems the Triple H-led company is the place where she’ll continue to thrive in the near future. It doesn’t feel long before Lynch starts dazzling the ring once again.
2. Lynch still features in WWE’s internal roster
While the rest of the points might be speculative, this one is a fact. It’s no secret that WWE maintains an internal roster that is solely for the global wrestling phenomenon’s internal purposes.
The wrestling fans would jump with joy after knowing that Becky Lynch does feature in that particular list. This bodes well regarding the former NXT women’s champion’s long-term future with her former employers.
1. The Irish Lass Kicker has not committed her long-term future to any other promotion
The fact that Lynch has stayed away from the limelight in these five months means that she is not interested in joining any rival promotions.
Especially the likes of AEW and TNA, who would be constantly vying for her signature. However, The Irish Lass Kicker has stayed loyal to the Stamford-based promotion till now, and it seems like she’d continue to do so in the near future. One more sign that Lynch may be WWE-bound sooner rather than later.
Getting a wrestler over with fans sometimes takes the WWE years, and keeping a fan-favorite performer away from the spotlight does nothing good for the business. Hence, it might be time for Triple H to bring out the checkbook and provide Lynch with whatever terms she desires. Because there’s no one quite like The Man.
