R-Truth faced his childhood hero at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

In one of the most bizarre and heated main events in recent memory, John Cena successfully beat R-Truth but not without controversy.

R-Truth made his entrance impersonating Cena as “Ron Cena,” complete with jorts, cap, and signature swagger. While the crowd had a good laugh, the Undisputed Champion was anything but amused.

Cena exploded out of the corner at the bell, unloading with stiff right hands and driving Truth into the turnbuckles. A powerful whip across the ring continued the beatdown.

However, Truth quickly turned things around with a flurry of his own. He nailed two shoulder tackles, followed by a unique fall-forward Blue Thunder Driver. With confidence running high, he mimicked Cena’s signature taunt, “You can’t see me!” and connected with the Five Knuckle Shuffle.

The crowd was stunned when he followed up with an Attitude Adjustment, nearly scoring the biggest upset of his career. Cena barely kicked out at two.

Truth locked in the STF, but Cena reached the ropes in time. The turning point came moments later when Cena grabbed the Undisputed title belt and looked ready to use it.

Truth, looking confused and hurt, asked, “What is going on with you, man?” Cena pretended to hand the belt over to referee Jason Ayers only to take advantage of the distraction and deliver a low blow to Truth! One more Attitude Adjustment followed, and just like that, Cena secured the win.

Winner: John Cena retains the WWE Undisputed Championship via pinfall.

The post-match scene got even more vicious. As Truth struggled to recover, Cena blasted him in the face with the championship belt before storming out of the ring. The crowd was left stunned by the champion’s actions. Whatever is going on with John Cena, one thing is clear, this isn’t the same man fans used to cheer.
