WWE Crown Jewel could feature major surprise returns.

WWE is only days away from heading to Australia for its next Premium Live Event, Crown Jewel. The event will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, and is expected to continue the momentum of successful WWE PLEs so far.

Moreover, top stars like John Cena, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes are set to compete in marquee matches at the event. With a huge event on the horizon, WWE can make it a bigger blockbuster with the returns of the top five superstars at the show.

5. Gunther

One of the top WWE superstars who main-evented WWE Crown Jewel last year was Gunther. The Ring General has been out of action for a few months with a broken nose. Should he be cleared, WWE can book his return at Crown Jewel, setting the stage for his insertion into the World Championship picture after dropping the title to CM Punk at SummerSlam this year.

4. Ilja Dragunov

The rise of one of the most dynamic WWE superstars, Ilja Dragunov, was derailed with a major knee injury last year. However, there had been reports that Dragunov was inching closer towards an in-ring return. Therefore, WWE could make his comeback huge with an appearance in Australia and positioning him into a prominent storyline on Monday Night RAW.

3. Bianca Belair

WWE has not seen The EST, Bianca Belair, in action inside the squared circle since she injured her fingers at WrestleMania 41 in a huge triple threat match for the WWE Women’s World title. Belair has been on the sidelines for numerous months, although she did make a few appearances. Her return could happen at WWE Crown Jewel, adding major star power back into the women’s division.

2. AJ Lee

AJ Lee made her remarkable comeback to in-ring action after a decade at WWE Wrestlepalooza. Proving that she had a lot of gas left in the tank, The Black Widow could make her next appearance at Crown Jewel, potentially to lay out her intentions of becoming Women’s Champion at the end of the WWE Crown Jewel title match between Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer.

1. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar had a dominant in-ring return at WWE Wrestlepalooza by defeating John Cena. Moreover, Paul Heyman also introduced him that night, hinting at their potential reunion. The Beast could resurface at WWE Crown Jewel to assist Heyman’s current associate, Seth Rollins, in defeating Cody Rhodes for the WWE Crown Jewel title. This could reignite a potential rivalry between Rhodes and Lesnar for the Undisputed WWE title moving forward on SmackDown.

When and where will Crown Jewel 2025 take place?

The seventh edition of the PLE will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.

Will this year’s PLE feature the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel titles?

Yes, similar to last year, the main attraction of the show will be the clash between the Champions of Raw and SmackDown for the aforementioned title.
