WWE megastar Rhea Ripley suffered a nasty nose injury during the second of WWE’s two Supershows in Tokyo, Japan, on Saturday. The incident occurred during a Fatal Four Way Match for the Women’s World Championship, featuring Ripley, Iyo Sky, Raquel Rodriguez, and the reigning champion, Stephanie Vaquer.

Rhea Ripley took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a short, graphic video from her phone showing cotton stuffed up her nose while giving a thumbs-up to reassure fans.

The caption read: “Thank you Japan 😂 I still love you!” 

Despite the unpleasant sight, her lighthearted tone quickly eased concerns that the injury was serious.

In the hours following the show, Ripley reposted several clips filmed by Japanese fans inside the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall, offering further confirmation that she’s doing well. Her upbeat demeanor and humor suggest that while the injury looked bad, it is only minor and unlikely to keep her out of action for long.

Fans in attendance noted that Ripley appeared to suffer the injury during a high-impact sequence involving Iyo Sky. Medical staff attended to her immediately after the match, but the former Women’s World Champion walked out under her own power, waving to the crowd on her way backstage.

The Tokyo and Melbourne Supershows capped off WWE’s weeklong international tour across Australia and Japan, featuring top RAW talent. The shows have been well-received by fans, filled with lively crowd reactions and light-hearted moments between superstars.
